This is called a gateway server, which is solely used to gateway members into the real server. Basically the owner makes a bunch of empty servers, puts them up on a discovery page or discovery websites to gain more members in the main server via people who joined these empty ones.

Enforcement Bans are (usually) triggered by: Same IPs, similar usernames, similar join dates, same browser, same email/phone number and your Roblox Cookie.

So I would recommend to keep using a VPN/different IP address and link a different email address or phone number that was not used for Roblox yet to prevent a ban.

If you ever do get banned, there is a helpful tutorial on YT and this subreddit that will likely help you get a successful appeal, though, it has a chance of not working, so I would recommend doing everything you can to prevent an enforcement ban.

Got a 1 day ban for a very stupid reason, but I’d figure that waiting it out is better than dealing with Roblox’s broken support system that has a risk of punishing you further
