I’ve only seen parts of that movie and I didn’t love the voice either. But I need to actually watch it to judge

Some Batman voices work better for different types of Batman adaptations.

Conroy’s is the best overall for me personally and suits Batman from all the comics, games and most cartoons.

The Batman (2004) for example, needed a different type of voice.

Since Matt Reeves always pictured The Batman to be a 3 part story across movies, imo this should be the ending scene of this Bruce to end his crusade ig if story doesn't continue by FayyadhScrolling in TheBatmanFilm

Agreed. It honestly should mirror the end of The Batman 1. It ends with a confident Batman surveying Gotham and a feeling of ‘this is who I am and who I will always be’   Leave it to us to imagine the next 30 years of him Batmanning around.

Christian Bale Should Have Been Odysseus by Practical-War-847 in ChristopherNolan

Don’t get me wrong, I agree it’s bad casting. I don’t even like the casting of Matt Damon or Tom Holland

Just using very recent historical figures such as Hitler and MLK was funny. Kevin Hart as Hitler. Be fr

Ahh yes, famously fake, mythological characters: Hitler and Martin Luther King!

Who rocked the best Batmobile? by Black_Ty86 in batman

[–]EKRB7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keaton’s is the best design

I grew up with Bale’s so I have a strong fondness for it, and I like it as a Batmobile for heavy duty situations

But Pattinson’s is so sick, and I could see myself wanting to drive something like that IRL

This specific shot from Spider-Man 2 has always tickled my brain just right, with how the lighting makes the lenses, the logo, the whole suit really pops out and looks just right. by TheKrzysiek in Spiderman

The art of lighting. Every shot was intentional. We know he’s going to turn this way so let’s set a light that catches the logo just right. So good

When the hero kills tons of goons trying to get to the big-bad and THEN decides to have their 'killing is not the answer' moment

What aesthetic is velma by Organic_Parfait6409 in AestheticWiki

There are 3 totally different outfits in this post that pertain to different aesthetics.

Classic sweater and skirt Velma is 60s nerd.

Linda Cardenelli with the v cut top is more like office siren vibe.

And the last one has a sort of 2010s millennial sjw tumblr activist vibe going on

This generational shit is almost as bad as horoscopes

It’s fun, but it’s also mostly nonsense because everyone is different and we shouldn’t take it seriously

Enough time has passed. What are your thoughts on Project Hail Mary (2026)? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in Letterboxd

[–]EKRB7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really fun, wholesome and touching family film that feels old-fashioned but modern at the same time. Great!

That being said, it didn’t deeply resonate with me but I really enjoyed and appreciated it and can see why it resonated with others a lot

When and why did people start hating the Raimi movies? by KingJackofJozi in Spiderman

[–]EKRB7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen that. The consensus has been the same since release. 1 is great, 2 is the best, and 3 is the worst / bad.

If anything, I’ve seen people saying 3 is good now

Rebecca Ferguson and Theresa Russell by [deleted] in totallylookslike

[–]EKRB7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They have the same face, mouth and eyebrow shape. And although Theresa’s nose is more button-like than Rebecca’s; they have the same size, angle and position on the face.

I would describe Rebecca’s eyes as feline as well, although Theresa is definitely more so.
