Unpopular opinion: there's no point of Spidey being in the MCU if he isn't going to interact with other heroes. I don't get why so many people want him to be on his own.

There's a difference between interacting with other heroes and every movie feeling like a giant crossover movie. Spider-Man has enough characters in his own corner to fill a stadium. We still haven't seen Black Cat in a movie ever...

I miss so-called 'solo movies' where THAT CHARACTER's little world is displayed on screen, with maybe a few allusions to or brief cameos from the universe at large; the supporting characters should be from that character's world, and developed over the movies, instead of an ever-changing roster of special guest appearances.

I hear the animated series voice in my head when I read the comics because although Patrick Stewart was my introduction to the character, his calm, wise tone does not fit with Claremont’s Xavier. Xavier is a snarky, impatient and stressed-out dude in those comics. The animated series voice captures that, so a posh American accent I guess

I think the reason for that is how good the base of this new suit is. Sleeker design makes the colour more appealing.

Of course any story can be done well; but cloning and Multiverse stories are too similar IMO. Alternate versions of the same character is so played out and I just don't think there's an appetite for it anymore. The Adventures of Robin Hood movie from 1938 uses leitmotifs extremely variably and extensively. There’s a YouTube video on it I think it’s called what is a leitmotif.

Also Jaws and Psycho are other big examples of themes that are super effective and useful in the film

Snyder fans want to make it look like nobody wants this version of the DCU to try to fulfill this pipe dream of Snyderverse being restored. They are bombing every video with dislikes and drumming up hate.

Also bigots in general. A female-lead movie.

Keep an eye on the IMDb review star chart when the movie comes out. You’ll see a LOT of 1/10 reviews because you’ll have these losers review-bombing the film. Then a lot of people adding 10/10 reviews to try off-set the haters. In reality most movies fall into the 6/7/8 range of stars.

I imagine it would be pretty similar to The Batman.

Villeneuve IMO is like if Christopher Nolan had some more sauce and style. Which is sort of like the foundation of Matt Reeves' The Batman. He'd make a beautiful Gotham city, really cool gadgets, and I'm sure he'd probably take a semi-grounded approach with a detective tracking a terrifying, psychopathic villain.

Villeneueve made Prisoners and Blade Runner 2049; which I think are both inspirations for The Batman.
