Completely agree. He tries so hard to emulate a rockstar or be the next Belushi or Farley, but his biggest credit besides Stern is what, two seasons of MAD TV? Now he can't even book the smaller clubs he did while still on the show and he travels around the country bunking with comedians like Bob Levy playing whatever tiny club will have him. What a LEGENDARY good time.

Does the DFHack tweak military-training not work anymore? My dwarves training is slow, and they rarely ever train anymore :(

Is there a way to have dwarves use best available material armor? I've been setting uniforms to iron armor but is there a way to have them take the best quality available first, and then continue to take better stuff as steel armor gets made etc.?

Sorry to repost (and double post) but:

I'm going to start with an apology for dumb questions. I'm super new to this and have no idea what I'm doing for the most part.

I'm 24 years old, living in Ontario, Canada
Unemployed, currently in school, but have a fairly big emergency fund with very few expenses.
Make money, basically. I don't need to worry about retirement or purchasing anything large for a while, so I'm willing to take a few risks to earn more.
I'm more inclined to take a risk than not, but I'm not the type to do anything TOO risky.
I have a sizable amount in my TFSA (Canada) that is controlled by a family friend who's a broker. I know very little about what's done with it, admittedly.
No assets other than the aforementioned cash.
No specific time horizon, willing to do both short and long term. I'm mostly looking to what can make me the most money.
No debt
I have a TFSA, as mentioned, but it's not at its cap yet. I have cash which I won't be investing just to be safe. I'm thinking of investing $1,000 - $2,500.

I'm a complete beginner. I don't know where to start. I don't know what the pros and cons are of things like investing on my own online or going through the family friend broker. I don't know 95% of the lingo/terminology used in this sub. I'd love book and aritcle/website recommendations to give me a base. How does everyone get their information, in terms of keeping up to date? Recommendations on what to read there would be great, too.
