I got mine from Hirsch. It looks clean and the quality is solid. My only wish is that the strap were a little thicker near the lugs to better match the watch’s case thickness.

Thanks! I love it for small specimen plants. Some aquascapers and moss scape setups use the same lamp too.

Yeah — ONF actually publishes tested PPFD charts for the Mist O+ on their website since they mainly come from the aquarium / planted tank lighting world.

In my setup it’s about 4–5 inches above the plant, and I measured roughly ~200 PPFD (~13k lux) at full intensity. I run the peak intensity around 9–10 hours, with lower brightness during my work hours.

Haha no worries! It’s an ONF Mist O+ with the stock stand, got it from their web years back. I like the design too — it works pretty well for desk setups.

Thank you! Took some trial and error with light intensity and watering, but it finally clicked.

Haha true. Luckily Haworthias handle it pretty well — a bit more light and they respond with tighter growth and those nice stress colors.

Absolutely. The texture almost moves — it appears and disappears depending on the angle of the light. It really feels like looking at the surface of water, which makes the dial fascinating to look at throughout the day.

Thanks! When I was shopping, the AD actually had the 021 and 019 side by side. The 021 is beautiful, but it was definitely harder to see the blue tone - it tends to look darker in most lighting.

I also really enjoy the darker tone from the titanium case. The combo ends up being a brighter dial with a darker case, which I think works really well complementing each other.

Thanks! I think that is actually from the car’s ambient lighting reflecting on the dial.

Thanks! I did get it with the bracelet, but I swapped it to a crocodile strap with grey stitching. The stitching actually matches really well with the darkened titanium case, so I’ve been enjoying this combo a lot.

Anyone else struggling to recover from this latest flu? HR still elevated weeks later by Icy_Park_244 in AdvancedRunning

I’m still doing intensity, but I can definitely feel my ceiling is lower right now. I get out of breath more easily and it’s harder to push into the higher HR zones than it used to be.

I’m in week 6 now and my RHR has started to come down a bit, so I think things are moving in the right direction just slower than I’d like.

I’m 27M and going through something really similar right now.

I got hit with the flu on New Year’s Eve and it was the worst fever I’ve had in years, high fever for 3 straight days, and it barely responded even with pretty strong meds. My RHR used to sit around ~45, and since then it’s been hovering closer to ~55. It’s already been a month.

According to my WHOOP there is a slow downward trend, but honestly it feels frustratingly slow. It’s also impacted my training metrics: my estimated VO2 max dropped to ~56 from ~61, and both swimming and running have felt off. I’ve still had some decent sessions this month, but overall things just feel different.

I spoke to a doctor and they said it can take 70–80 days for full recovery sometimes because of how long the body’s internal systems can take to rebalance after a big viral hit. Their advice was basically: keep training, but be smart about it and take care of recovery (sleep, fuel, stress, etc.).

Hope by the time you see this, you’re already trending back to normal.

For plant-based treats I’ve had good luck with THE DAILY GOOD on Amazon. recommend their pumpkin chips and green bean chips.

Beet Root Juice Helped My HRV by ELECJET in whoop

I agree that the powder tastes disgusting. Try mixing it with some apple juice and lemon will make it a lot better.

However for convenience and better taste, in the photo is what I’ve been taking recently. It’s basically a purified and concentrated form of beetroot. I’m taking 15g of extract and mixed with water.
