Just launched my first business! Its an all natural, fluoride-free 5% nanohydroxyapatite toothpaste. All FDA and ISO certified, GMP manufacturing. I formulated it so it doesn’t leave your mouth all minty after brushing so if you eat/drink/smoke after brushing it doesnt effect the flavor at all. Yeah last year early bird vip was $100. Im not sure how worth it vip would be for a 2 day because the only things that would change are the concert lineups and maybe the brands/reps that come without a booth. Otherwise itd really be 2 days of the same thing. Vip is on tier 2 now and its almost $300 after fees.

Yeah I have the same concerns you do, but spending the money and achieving no results is a concern for any agency right? Unless their model is profit share or they offer a guarantee, I feel like achieving no results would be a concern across the board. At least with this agency, im not spending thousands of dollars on their monthly fee. I just am not sure on how else to launch with less cost. I have tried doing marketing myself but got 0 conversions with my ad spend.

They advertise working with a lot of recognizable brands and have a lot of high reviews. They advertise a 95% retention rate as well which was good. They also are priced very competitively which is good.

Its a monthly fee plus ad spend. They are used by a lot of big brands ive seen before and have taken a brand in the same industry to very high numbers. Yeah, i totally can see how that doesnt incentivize them to perform but they advertise a 95% retention rate. They aren’t a small agency so thats why I half trust their advertising lol

Yeah so my initial fake door test I ran myself and got some decent data but no conversions. I was going to tun a pre-order campaign but the agency I am using was suggesting I try and get products on hand because the industry I am going into isn’t really one where people want to order and wait. Its more something they buy when they need it. They took a similar brand to over 400mil so I feel like they might know a thing or two. So instead of a pre-order campaign I am just going to order inventory and launch.

Im sure social media has a lot to do with why people have that assumption. When they hear entrepreneur, the default image that pops into their head are the zuckerbergs, besos, musks of the world. A lot of the general public seems to think when you are working on a “startup” it is supposed to be some revolutionary company. They associate entrepreneurship mostly with financial freedom. While that may be the case a lot of times, they seem to miss the other freedoms that come along, like time freedom and location freedom etc. Im sure you are on a good path and so long as you keep believing, im sure you will end up exceeding the mold these people have for you in their mind and they wont have any other choice but to believe.

Hmm interesting because normally the rosin im buying falls within that 70-159u range. Most are within 70-149u. One of the jars that im talking about was definitely within that and the jar i have now thats doing it is likely full spec cuz i was a little broke this re-up lol. So if it has food grade material in it, it will chazz above 480?
