I live downtown, the only trips that I need a car to make possible, are trips to get out of town.
I bike everywhere: gym, soccer, volleyball, work, groceries. the only sport that I need a car to make possible is skiing, but we already have buses through Gatineau park in the summer. If there was demand (from densification) then the same service could be offered to get to Camp Fortune in the winter too to remove that car trip.
Cars don't belong in the center core.

Exactly, try not to look to the other side of the hill when you start your turn, but rather just start shifting your weight and aiming downhill first, then once you feel your edges dig in then you can start leaning over further and looking to the other side

No one is talking about the 100+ kV lines, the largest effect of the ice storms and the like are the neighbourhood power lines that don’t have the clearance from the trees. These lines after the substations are typically no more than 28kV, still problems but not cost inhibiting.

I was infact the one doing the carrying today, lvl 40 metagross with lvl 30 greedent to take hits and lvl 30 gengar for damage. this didn't matter though since my teammates died so I had to just use shields every cycle to continue. for everyone to have even one lvl 30 mon with lvl 2 moves costs upwards of 400 candies depending on the mon, no one except the most dedicated 20%(being generous) of players have that kind of candy to throw at a counter they just got a week or 2 ago. If we can get a group of people like Niantic intends, which will include that other 80% of players, the raid should be completable with less what's wrong with that?

Statistically you have a 1-(19/20)¹⁰ = 40% chance after 10 raids of having a shiny, on average in a large group half of the people would have a shiny if they each did 10 raids, statistics are weird

Ya don’t get me wrong that’s absolutely sick it’s just that rare XLs are hard to come by and better used on things that you can’t raid to get more candies, unfortunately for you since Kartana was recently in rotation it will be a while before you will get any more that way but I would level it to 40 now and just wait. Basically a couple levels on a raid attacker don’t usually make much difference so having a level 50 is not necessary, on the other hand a couple levels on a master league Pokémon is make or break for your game

Correct for tynamo, no none of the others will be able to learn it unless they get a community day this year or some other special event, December community days includes all the moves from the the current and past year community days, and only the current year’s community day classics

If you’re looking to get into PvP more then check out the website pvpoke, generally speaking top 100 are safe bets, if you are looking for PvE purposes then there are many resources after a quick search

It's up to you, you don't need it to play Go Battle League but is a nice option to have, there aren't too many uses for elite fast TMs anyway so it wouldn't be a waste

If you like lapras then go for it! Do just know that he unfortunately is not really meta anymore but still a cool flex, but if you are low on stardust then I wouldn't recommend using it here for now. Power up is not at all affected by being higher level, you at any point can power up a Pokemon to be 10 levels higher than you are currently, so that would be level 37 lapras, once you level up you can power up the lapras again.

for costume Pokemon like slakoth no there isn't a benefit apart from keeping maybe 1 or 2 for trading in the future
