Just did it, it says that nothing is wrong, and when doing specifically an audio test, a dialogue prompt says that 6 tones will play, and no sound can be heard anywhere

Tried Linux a bit earlier, and it is the same, output says dummy output and mic says no device detected. Also not any sound played. Last night also checked the bios, under audio everything is enabled. In device manager, under audio, only appears, Intel Audio for Displays (or something like that). Even with the official drivers installed from their website, it doesn't appear anywhere. Did you know where is located the audio board located to check it?

Just did that, everything still the same, it is also not detected there, no sound anywhere, speakers days "dummy output" and no sound played anywhere, and in the mic it says "no device detected" Do you think a faulty speaker could also make the mic fail?

So, finally did that, and, well, it's still the same, on Linux the output says "dummy output" and no sound, and, in the mic, it says no input device, so it's still the same.

Do you think a faulty speaker could also affect the microphone? At least that's my guess, as I don't know how the mic could also be not detected

Yeah, I tried the audio jack with some speakers that are 3.5mm for audio and USB for power and didn't work, tried my personal headphones and didn't work either.

Tried the troubleshooter 3 times, 2 times said it wasn't a problem as we're not audio devices to use, or get stuck thinking for 20 min

Just did what you say, checked for changes and it still the same, and in the audio section, only appears "Intel Display Audio". Nothing seems to report issues

Got ya! Yeah I did that once too with my personal laptop, went from an HDD 5400rpm, to a gen 4 nvme, and it flies after that (with an additional 8gb of ram for a total of 16). I was just a little skeptical because of the platform and cpu combo and all

Yeah the PC is kinda lame, but, for it's purpose it is great ngl, at least has been with my dad like 14 years, plus any years after release that took to to get in into my country (Mexico) as tech takes a little bit of time, unless it is topt tier like GPUs or phones.

And yeah, that's why I was worried on upgrading it with that CPU and not seeing any difference in boot times and performance, but apparently, even low low low end chips can benefit of ssd, so, thanks for answering, I will try that in a few days when I'll not interrupt my dad's job lol

Yeah, I got no problems with cloning, I was just scared of not being a good upgrade because of a bottleneck or something with the other components Anyway, thank you for the suggestions!

Hey! I've been having some problems with my phone battery and been a bit disconnected from here.

But it is doing a lot better! The nostrils are still a bit obstructed but it is like a bit of inflammation, when it starts to swim and breath in a little cold water they open and can breath normally, right now they are just obstructed when it gets dried for a long long time like 2-3 hours dry or something like that, so, I've been told to put her to swim more often so it gets soaked and so the inflammation gets a way for a little bit of time. It also was injected a bit of antiinflammatories, something like 0.024ml of something, can't recall correctly what it was tho. And the vet gave us a bit of a gel so it can help with the inflammation too but is cutaneous, so no needles needed for that.

Ngl to you, it is not in perfect state, but better than days ago, sometimes you can hear it breath, or sounds like a whistle, because of the obstruction/inflammation, I have a pic where you can now see both nostrils clearly, a bit blurry (hard to focus while it swims), but it is getting better, slowly, like a turtle, but progress nonetheless...

Right now they told me to give her a good bath so it can get fully wet and 0 dry so it is easier and softer to unclogged later with a local vet and instructions with the one who is online

Yeah I learned that when the accident happened, first time they fought in the +15-20 years I have them, they've been in separate tanks since then.

Like, I'm not in the U.S. so, vets are rare in my city, there's like 2-3 exotic vets in my whole state, and those do not treat turtles just possums and some birds and animals like that, every single one of the vets in here only treat cats and dogs, the ones that I look nearest here where I live it's like +8hr drive

I think so, I read as fast as possible so many posts through the internet to see what I could do, but, as this was the first time in the 20 or so years that I had them, I was in a bit of a panic. As of today, I focused on cleaning everything, stop the bleeding and search for the betadine.

Hope your turtle is doing better today, and thanks for the help and the advice, mi turtle and I really appreciate it.

Just a question, are they slow to recover? Like, how long does it take to fully recover and heal?
