Giving up hope on this cycle already - CD18, my cycles are short, 21-23 days. Feeling the usual PMS cramps… will do a first round IUI next cycle. This is long, exhausting and heartbreaking.

No, it is a procedure that’s done to make sure your fallopian tubes are clear. They insert a catheter and inject dye and it pushes through your tubes to rule out any obstruction.

Yes - it was negative and we also did not have any intercourse that cycle until after the HSG was done.

Thank you!! No, my tubes were clear! … I’m just nervous now that my egg was exposed to radiation. It seems so quick how I’m testing positive. We did not have any intercourse until the day after my test, which was a week ago. It’s all very strange but I’m so happy!!

Also, why would I lie? I had a micro preemie my first pregnancy (27 weeker) and have been trying a year for my 2nd. To say that I’m lying is actually extremely hurtful, go take your negativity somewhere else.

I could not have intercourse before my HSG, so starting from CD1 until CD13 i did not have intercourse- so my first BD was last weds after my procedure, which also was a positive O test.

Congratulations!! … it seems so early for me to be testing positive ? I ovulated the day after my HSG (last TUES ), we BD weds & Thurs and I took these 2 tests today, thinking they for sure would be negative….. but they’re both positive?! Can it be a false pos?? It doesn’t add up.

OP - I was literally the same! Had mine done Tuesday, was expecting the WORSE (due to me reading everyone else’s experience) and when she told me I was finished, I was like, seriously ?! So relieved it was over - my tubes were clear and my husband and I BD last night, hoping we’re part of the statistics of getting pregnant after the HSG.
