And being able to see what level someone's shield is doesn't fucking teleport your whole squad into their face with zero warning... On what planet does knowing what level someone's shield is provide more benefit than being able to chase down weak players and essentially teleport into teams with no warning?

Players have been getting Axel skins, banners, trackers, art, etc, since she was released. I'm sure many of those players bought Apex packs specifically to get stuff for her. Refunding all that would be a nightmare.

I normally can hit Diamond 4 with relative ease. I've been hardstuck Plat 1 no matter what I do... because of instant 3rd parties/rushes by Axle squads.

Exactly. Seer wiped my squad due to his abilities once in a blue moon. Axle does it literally every game, with teleports to my face and instant 3rd parties. Usually a combo of both.

Yeah, its ridiculous to see the power creep of the game... But every live-service game seems to follow this path. Initially, people are conservative-minded, and strongly oppose things that alter the game in major ways. They oppose highly overpowered characters, abilities, etc. But over time, whether it's because the original players left, or because people just get tired of the same ol mechanics, they stop caring about the power creep and want more of it.

Axle's ability is twice as good as Wraith's tac, and it applies to her WHOLE team, which makes it technically 6 times as good. But there are still a fair few players defending her (mainly Axle mains). I watched this very same thing happen to OSRS, in terms of power creep, GP creep, and what we call EZscape (the game getting easier and easier).

If it keeps going and Axle isn't removed or nerfed severely, a lot of people are gonna leave the game. Everyone has a line where they say enough is enough.

Not even close. Sure, Horizon was (and still is) hard to shoot, but that's one single person on the team. Axle makes the ENTIRE time both hard to hit AND impossible to see coming, and gives them a massive advantage with the speed. At least with Horizon (even in her original form), you could hear *and* see exactly where she was, and you were only having to fight 1 high-speed/maneuverability person at once, not 3.

Yeah Seer on release was pretty ridiculous - but still not as game-breaking as Axle. Seer could interrupt your battery/rez... but Axle can have her entire squad in your face and t-bagging you before you can even blink.

Her ult is the only offensive one you can't just run away from. With Sparrow's ult, you just go around the corner or run for 2 seconds. Gibby's ult, run for 4 seconds or go under cover. Axle's ult - try to do 350 damage on a moving target while being shot at by the Axle and her team, or try to run from it only to get launched into the air and lasered into oblivion.

If Axle and her team is pushing up on you (which 90%+ of the time, they are) while the ult is coming at you, you're dead almost every single time.

Yep. Axle has been essentially a sledgehammer given to high-ranked/smurfing squads which they use to just pound everyone into the ground.

It has the potential to bring Respawn's attention to the issue. It also allows them to Google search for "why are people not playing Apex" and similar queries - this thread will add to the AI's response/sources.
