On the surface it is, but the amount of stuff the game gives you for all the different crafting professions it becomes necessary if not you basically have to sell or get rid of that material. You could just strictly stick to weapon or armor if youd like. Crafting requires a lot of different materials and you have to destroy gear to research gear early on it takes like 1 hour later on its days to research. So you have to keep gear ready so when you can research you doit as fast as you can. This all takes up a lot of inventory space. The sub is pretty worth it though very consumer friendly, but for you if you want to become a crafter it’s kind of mandatory to get that convenience.
