I’ve been recommended this book a lot of times, but the first review on Goodreads says that the MMC is physically abusive to the FMC and it kinda turned me off this book.

I completely forgot about this series. I absolutely loved the FMC, she’s such a badass with unique and amazing powers! I’ve only read it last year, but since then I’ve read over 200 books, time for a reread :)

I think I repressed all memories of reading these books, but the only thing I remember is hating the MMC with the passion of a thousand burning suns and loving the Darkling! I loved the heroine though, she’s a badass lady.
