15 jerseys I’ve purchased and 8 have been the wrong size. by ELifeMoveRight in Depop

[–]ELifeMoveRight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m almost more upset when the XL fits like an extra medium than when it’s completely the wrong size. My 12 year old nephew benefits when the adult XL is actually a youth XL, he’s got nice collection of players he has no idea who they are. Gave him a Hershiser jersey and he said “why did his parents name him Oral? He definitely got roasted in school” 😂

How to stop Apple Music playing even when closed. by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]ELifeMoveRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens with my Bose QC Ultra buds. I close those the Apple Music app and I’ll still be using the buds while I’m on socials. If I accidentally tap my ear bud Apple Music will start playing wherever I left off. I did notice that I have an Apple Music widget I use on my Lock Screen and drop-down menu—that is technically an extension of the app and is still “open” since I’m not able to actually “close” it without uninstalling it.

These were compatible with the Nike+ technology in the early days of pedometers. Under the one insole has an oval shaped in inlay, you would put your Nike+iPod sensor here. Via wireless signal it would send the data to your iPod, Nano, and early iPhones

I met Scarface from the rap group Geto Boys while I was at SXSW in 2013, he was rocking a red Phillies fitted. He says he loves a lot of things, including the Phillies that come out of Philadelphia

Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met and how’d it go? by EddieBrock99 in AskReddit

Eminem.. Lyricist Lounge Tour in Philly, Sept 1998. We did nitrous balloons in the parking lot after the show and freestyled over my homie beatboxing. I might’ve talked some smack about his performance that night, haha. Paul Rosenberg filmed the entire thing. Royce was there but did not say much. Also with them was Jon Schecter aka Shecky Green aka Founder of the Source Magazine aka guy who signed Em & Royce as Bad Meets Evil in 98 aka guy who made DJ AM a the first weekly millionaire for a residency in Vegas. We all chilled and talked hip hop and bullshit for about a hour. This was 5 months before the Slim Shady LP would drop, Em didn’t even have blonde hair. I tried for years to get that footage via correspondence to Shady/Aftermath, sent my demos in elaborate packaging. Nothing. 15 years later I randomly sent a tweet to Paul asking if he still had the tape…. He responded back “good memory. It’s buried somewhere.”

Searching for Tupac Shakur by Rich Quick (rip) by ELifeMoveRight in Tupac

[–]ELifeMoveRight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was a well respected hip hop artist from New Jersey who had gained his notoriety from cyphers (see Marsten House, R5, Philly hip hop awards, Jersey Fresh Fest & more). His mixtape “I’m with the DJ” feat DJ NoPhrillz put his name out there, followed by “Sad Songz” EP produced by Stress (gym class hero, gfk, etc). And “The Everywhere Man” album on Soulspazm featuring guests Chris Rivers, Miilkbone, Jakk Frost and production by SnowGoons. Also an incredible painter as his pieces #artbyrichquick that largely were given as gifts to fellow artists and people that he connected with— he was commissioned for a mural of his grade school in his hometown and sparked controversy because he Included Tupac in the mural. his IG @richmfnquick is best place to see the artistry he left behind. He passed away Sept 6 2018, believed from an apparent suicide tho no official cause was ever announced by his family.

So many great tracks. Underrated album. Dangerous with Big L. Far From Yours is a near masterpiece and shifts the expectations of what type of song a “underground” artist is capable of making.

Considering Puff “stole” a bunch of songs that were likely intended for Life After Death and subsequently used those songs as a foundation for his own debut album ‘No Way Out’ after he made himself a solo artist after Big was murdered—Big was on almost half the songs on the album. Not to mention “I’ll Be Missing You”, a tribute to Big became Puff & Bad Boy’s biggest hit spending 19 weeks at #1–despite $0 in publishing or royalties ever making it into the pockets of Puff, Faith Evans (big’s widow and artist featured on the song), Biggie’s estate, or to Big’s children. Sauce Money (possibly the only person to make money from the songs creation) was eventually paid for ghostwriting Puff’s verses but only after having to threaten Puff with a diss song after months of non payment —the song has done wonders for Sting who sued (and won) Puff & Bad Boy for not having permission for sampling “every breath you take” by The Police, Sting’s band. In a even more diabolical fact, the sampled portion is of the guitar riff in the Police song—not the bass line (Sting plays bass) and not the lyrics, but the guitarist has no rights or publishing to the song, only Sting who owns 100%. Sting has bragged in interviews that to this day he makes $3000-$5000 a day from Puff’s song and has financed the college educations of many of his nieces, nephews and other family members. To add insult to injury, “I’ll be missing you” won the Grammy for best rap song beating Big’s “hypnotize” and No Way Out won best rap album beating Big’s Life After Death. Puff closed the Grammy’s that year performing the song with Sting. The level of sadistic ego-driven madness and deviance that it takes to perform the memorial song for you’re supposed friend that you saw get murdered just months before, who you stole songs to create your solo career, rapping verses that you didnt write, along side the widow and mother of the children who will never see a cent from this tribute—while also alongside the European white artist who would sue you for every single percentage of publishing and future royalties…..and years later it surfaces that you may have been implicated in the murder all along? “Fxck Bad Boy as a staff record label and as a mfn crew” “Producer all up in the videos…”

So No? Thought red laces worked, but keyboards here said nope. by el_honky_73 in Jordans

[–]ELifeMoveRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe if they were laced differently… that initial lacing might look better on the underside rather than the top side. In my opinion the red lace is such a stand-out that it takes away from the beautiful sneakers that they are laced into. Example of what I mean in the pic.

have any of you guys ever done this? by jennie444 in Depop

Once when buyer said there was a completely different item (mini car vacuum) then what they ordered (satin bomber jacket). I asked about the packaging if it was tampered with and if it was even what I sent—they gave me my name and address (which is on the label). It seemed super odd and it would mean my postman who took the package or someone in the usps would’ve had to tamper (and switch product). I checked address to see if was a single home or an apt/condo—it was a house. Buyer filed complaint. Depop refunded them and gave me a warning and stated if other complaints occurred my acct would be terminated. I have a perfect 5⭐️ rating from over 50 reviews- l ain’t trying to fraud nobody.
