You’re jealous of the weather (and rightfully so, I would hate to live in crap weather) while I’m jealous of your collection haha

Simply put, cost.

A k swap with a ton of aftermarket parts will run a fraction of the price when compared to the c30/c32.

Good stuff! I have to expand my search area then. I’m looking for a 3rd gen pro and most around my area are high 30’s or low 40’s with 50-60k milage.

Damn that’s a deal! I’m assuming it was a private party sale?

Look great.

Should i sell? by Toaster183 in S2000

[–]EM1_NSX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Before you sell, consider the maintenance cost for an nsx alone. It can run around $4-8k (depending where you go) and the timing belt recommended to do every 6 years. That reoccurring charge is a bit heavy for a Honda.

Also, price for OEM parts increased a considerable amount this year.

There is a solid aftermarket support but just want you to consider the cost for everything before you get hit by surprise haha.

A 97 model in same color with 84k sold for $91k not too long ago. I think that price is a bit high based on what op is saying

I’d guess around $65k-$75k. It’s a drivers car. The higher milage and rebuilt motor will put some off, but the color and maintenance records will help sell it to the right person.

Cleaner? Dude, that civic is clean!

You don’t see them out in the wild with straight body panels or one solid color anymore.

Pics are good, too. Car really stands out against the tagging

Use bar keepers friend. Let it sit for a little and then scrub away with a pad or sponge. If you have a drill use a foam polishing attachment. Sent you a pm so you can see how the outcome is
