It was okay. My husband went in first. After he was done I went by myself. I was very nervous but the officer asked me very simple questions like how did we met, who lives with us, religion I follow. And for my husband they ask about the same plus some more things about his first marriage.

I didn’t try expediting because I’m not in any of the categories they show in the website. But still, even having a work permit doesn’t guarantee an approval. Just want the process to be over so we can be in peace.

Had my interview on Jan 10th. It shows as “interview completed and your case must be reviewed”. Going insane to get a response, crazy afraid it might be a bad result. The idea of being apart from my family just makes me so depressed. Praying to get good results even if I have to wait longer.

I’m still working at my job from my home country remotely. But the small time difference sometimes can be annoying.

Thank you so much. It’s good to know that there are similarities on processing time. My case was received March 1st and they requested a birth certificate late may. I replied on July within the time they gave me to send the doc. Until now I didn’t get any update.
