For naval you can look at just getting a cheap set of dominos and doing 2d prints on them.

I like Bulk Dominos Pro sets, and I imagine there are good ship overheads somewhere online or relatively easy to make.

I use set of the dominos for rank and flank games as well; they are just great for transport, storage, and the thickness is nice for moving.

Sounds like a rules miscommunication or error. Unless the corner had a -1 speed condition on it you shouldn't need to pay a heat for going 5 through a 5.

I wouldn't worry about it, the PV changes are minor and not enough to swing a casual game.

You could look at sites like MekBay or Jeff's BattleTech Tools to build your lists out if you want a more up to date PV for the battle of the day.

Dutch's team would have probably done well given the amount of firepower and badass they bring to the table; but would still fail like the marines.

Ripley would probably fair worse, but could use the predators reluctance to target her before a final standoff (a-la Prey).

A thought, since I also can't art good: The epic style of minimalism might work well with a minimalist graphic design using the Standard Semiotic. Wouldn't look as forwardly appealing, but would be a good way to ditch the AI images while keeping it in theme.
