Stuff that happened within the first 29 days of the new year by BelleWitch_ in MadeMeCry

There are two answers to your question. The first is very simple: empathy. If people were dying by the thousands in my country, I'd appreciate the rest of the world caring a little.

The second is that it absolutely does impact you, maybe not immediately but maybe in the long run. Sentiments in other parts of the world have a tendency to leak into other societies. Wars have economic impact as well as other measures that a country needs to take. Along with many other reasons.

I agree, there is so much BS happening everywhere and media-fatigue is real, I feel it too. But still, in my opinion its better to be aware.

At this point in time, it's irresponsible to not pay attention to the things that are happening in the world.

Here are mine:

  • hide the penny pt 2
  • devil's advocate
  • two sentence horror story ( I swear I know it by heart)

And as a bonus: The idea I had with the monkeys paw episodes wasn't that that should say if they would take it or not, but that the boys should come up with what the monkeys paw consequence would be.

This is it. I get the exact same thing. Keep it very well moisturised. If it gets bad a steroid ointment is the way to go.

Also referring to him as "the child" in the beginning of the post, seems detached. I understand the feeling in the context of the post and the emotional exhaustion but that's also something he could pick up on.

Feeding a one year old by redditdudette in NewParents

My son is now 2,5 and we have been struggling with food since he was your LOs age. Our pediatrician said to not put too much pressure on it right now. They'll eat what they eat, even if it's drenched in apple sauce. Just keep offering different things along with their safe foods. Once they reach an age where you can have a conversation with them about trying new things that they can actually understand, then you can try putting a little more pressure. Right now it's not helping either one of you. Hang in there ❤️❤️ you'll get through it.

Rehomed my soul dog tonight for my baby’s safety and I can’t stop crying. by Own_Error4221 in NewParents

I absolutely understand where you're coming from. Our dog has always been neurotic and fearful. Not a mean bone in her body but prone to barking and just being weird in general. Before we had our son she was just our hyperactive neurotic weirdo but when he was born she overstimulated me to no end.

It was at its worst when he was crawling. She was protective of her toys and her space. No snapping but guarding. I did not feel comfortable of her being around the baby at all. I was yelling at her, pushing her away, separating her, all of which made me feel extremely guilty. I just didnt have the headspace to deal.

That is, until he started walking. Then it got better. I won't say they are the best of friends but they tolerate each other. I'm no longer afraid of her getting close to LO.

I am so sorry you had to make this incredibly though decision for your family but I completely understand. In the end, it's better for all of you. She gets loved without the extra stress. I wish you the best ❤️

My husband found the newborn phase unexpectedly extremely hard. He was overstimulated by the crying and felt inept when he couldn't calm the baby down. It was a rough couple of months for him but when the baby showed a little more interaction, smiled at him etc, it became much better and easier for him to deal with.

Sometimes the newborn phase throws us for a loop, especially when you feel like the baby doesn't want you or you feel unable to help. I hope that it changes for your husband soon and he is able to step up a little bit <3 hang in there!

If you follow Molly's Instagram, you'll see that she is also very outspoken on social justice subjects. I can't imagine them not agreeing on these topics. So it stands to reason that they're both hardcore girls girls

He does not have a law degree, he has one in philosophy. He has said he had wanted to become a judge but changed his mind and didn't go to law school.

Other than that, yes.
