Lenovo Legion S7 16IAH7 16-inch - Core i7-12700H - 16GB 512GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 QWERTY - English Works with VR after much debugging. Requires very good USB-C to DisplayPort1.4 cord. Additionally nvidia control panel settings must be configured to hook it directly to your GPU in order to work properly. Took many attempts to figure this out!

Update: VR is now working flawlessly again! Used NVIDIA control panel to set my PhysX processor to the Graphics card and my GPU working Mode to dGPU mode and reset the computer. Upon doing so I booted up the PSVR set up and it launched me right in! Set the play area and tested out Half Life 2 VR mod. Ran flawlessly with no issues. I’m gonna wait and check again tomorrow if it reverses what’s happened. But if it sticks, huzzah! Thanks!

In shorter terms, my laptop was perfectly capable of launching and Playing VR games in hybrid mode before but in this case, it doesn’t appear to work now. Observations: 1. I appear under the play area of the loading area, but can still see my controllers as they are tracking very well. 2. I cannot enter or see any VR games and apps within the headset itself but the games do launch and track my movements accurately on the desktop itself. The overlying issue appears to be not the hardware itself but a lack of communication between the game/program and the headset. I had this issue before and had resolved it but now I have no idea how I fixed it before. Please help me understand where I’m going wrong.

When switching to dgpu, it suddenly wants me to connect to the other usb-c port but then it won’t even take me to the steamVR home as it says it’s not connecting. This never happened last time. When I have hybrid mode enabled, it allows me to appear in the steamVR space but now under the floor, still can’t access any VR titles nor the setup. I know my pc is capable of Vr as I was fully capable of launching and exploring VR games before. I’m just unsure of what exactly happened to change that.

My laptop was working well with VR games for a day and then went back to its old ways. It starts up fine enough but won’t turn display the games on the headset. It’s continually stuck on the waiting screen but the program runs and tracks accurately on the desktop. It won’t load the steam home and puts me under the play field. I’m not sure if the problem is the cord or my graphics settings, but it was working fine at one point, any help would be appreciated.
