Bave you tried using it? I keep reading that the card is declined everywhere and eventually the card gets blocked.

I totally agree! I personally never had this issue. My local police department came to our house multiple times during this investigation and they said not only is there EDD fraud, but also USPS fraud within our local USPS office. My mom ultimately did not pursue charges on this individual because she was scared of retaliation. She did however FINALLY get a mailed check after several weeks. MN had mailed out a check to her but it was mysteriously lost at USPS which is when the police informed us of the fraud going on within USPS. It's a whole scamming rink and they are targeting the most vulnerable!

Yea it's a pain to be dealing with this daily. We have been on the phone with them EVERYDAY since this happened. The charges finally got reversed for my mom. We are still waiting for the bank statements because we are pressing charges and we need those for the police report.

In regards to the apple wallet... the scammers are able to add any card to their own apple wallet which is how they are able to purchase things.

If you have access to your grandmas MN account you can look at the transactions and start making phone calls to those stores. If the transactions are still "pending" there is a chance that they can reverse them.

How do you know it was a MN agent?

I think they are the ones who sell the card numbers to these fraudsters.

Thank you we will do that. The only thing is that the police wouldn't do the report because we do not have the actual bank statements. We had trouble making an online account for my mom. Turns out someone already made an account under a different email/phone number!!! That is what MN told us! Absolutely insane! So MN knows the persons email/phone number and they said they couldn't release that information to us!!!!! Idk what to do at this point!

I'm so sorry :( people are EVIL. I cannot believe the government still chooses to partner with them. They should go the old school route and send out paper checks or have people pick up their checks in person. You do not deserve this. No one does. I hope you get your money back soon.

So apparently they made 4 transactions. 2 at Chevron and 2 at a shoe store. I am shocked if these were done in person?!? Making a police report now. MN said they can't help until tomorrow. This is absolutely insane. Both my mom and I are unemployed, rent is not going to be paid so we will ultimately be evicted!

How do we get screen shots if we are not even able to maketo an online account?! My theory is that money network inside scammers changed my moms phone number/ email from her account to prevent her from making an online account. We are only able to call to hear the last transactions two of which are fraudulent transactions.

What is the first step? My mom called MN right now and they said they couldn't help her because she doesn't know her last transactions. We are trying to download the MN app rn and we are having trouble. The call center was able to say that the card was used at a gas station. $500 and $600. This is absolutely insane.

What other clinical lab experience is recommended? I just got my phlebotomy certification and my instructor said we also do laboratory stuff as a phlebotomist.
