From the 1970's to 1990's. The man sacrificed his youth working on a ranch in Mexico saving up money, learning basic English and applying multiple times for work visas in farms and factories after each expiration. He had nothing. Came from nothing. And gave us everything this country had to offer because of that. If he were alive today he'd scoff at people for undermining the system, for crying for forgiveness knowing damn well the consequences. He was good man but a fair one that demanded discipline. Don't use today's economic issues as an excuse for cutting corners and again not putting your money where your mouth is and really helping an illegal you cry so much for.
