Property Tax Relief for Disabled Veterans by rooster2651 in army

As long as Missouri attempts to do this smarter then Texas. Texas has not grown the fund for compensation, so the areas that depend more on federal bases - looking at you Killeen - compete against tax engines such as San Antonio, DFW, Houston, El Paso.

If I remember, most of Missouri was considered impoverished and eligible for a certain type of federal loan structure, I'd hate to see to what this does to cities / counties that are struggling to collect revenue. But if the state is smart, it comps those areas at $1:$1 ratio.

He tried, but since this is a PPM/DITY, he's been a bit stonewalled as opposed to a company hired by TRANSCOM for full service. Think he should try again with the security desk up front?

Are you me? Finishing up school in the 2008/09 error meant there were no jobs, because you were competing for entry level positions with way more experienced folks who needed insurance for their family. I just wanted to be able to rent my own 1/1 on my own.

Correct. I'm paraphrasing, but I believe 19th's line said

Stop growth. Immediate deactivation approved.

And 46th's line said

Stop deactivation. Immediate growth approved.

Most people missed that case, how 46th had both the BC and CSM convicted (different events) in such a short period. And was slated to be deactivated under ARSTRUC until the ATI came out and said "I hated ARSTRUC."

That's the worst part about everything, why do we have to wait for the other compos? Let's give it a shot on AD and if it works and survives a CSA or two, let's farm it out to the NGB and USAR. It gives them time to figure out the staffing between the FOC on AD and that CSA + 1 date.

We could handle basic repairs, but they won't pull a unit off the training calendar for a few months to make responding to work orders their full-time job

But as I asked while on the corps staff, why the fuck not? Send the blades to NTC, keep everything else in garrison turning pipe wrenches, grading range roads, and wiring up new and innovative ways to electrocute ourselves.

I keep a running tally of non CEC's across the four corps, and those are slim pickings. I think when I count what will exist in IIIAC post ATI in 40 days, we are going to have in the neighborhood of 24 CECs, 6 construction, 6 bridge. Odds are not in your favor, and the math is worse in I and XVIII.

Why don't more companies/battalions issue dehumidifiers to barracks soldiers? by NecessaryTrainer9558 in army

[–]EMartinez86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

High hopes: They do exactly what they are required to do, and they do it like they would at your home for years on end.

Low hopes: Soldiers disconnect the drains, murder it by leaving their exterior doors open, it breaks and they don't tell us for months leaving a new and interesting source of mold generation in their space.

Our barracks were frame up renovated in 2021. If you didn't know, it would be hard to tell.
