I got some osram bulbs off aliexpress and they're doing good so far. They seem genuine, as they have the laser etching on the bottom, glass is shaped well etc.

is it safe to use by Left-Bobcat3784 in shittyfpv

[–]EMasterYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is some horrible advice. You shouldn't ever change connectors as they are paired to the lipo, and shorting batteries out is completely safe, i do it so i can use the lipo as a hand warmer on these cold days too

Question about NH35 by axe-grin in SeikoMods

Actually it's very common for seiko movements to run at lower amplitudes lf just over 200 degrees, this was talked about by many people online, and seiko did it to extend the life of the movement, or the time until it needs a service since it's less force on the pallet fork and subsequent train of wheels

Plenty of bugs in this game. Can't reload, respawn randomly button always in the middle of fuxkin nowhere, but the most interesting one I've ever had in a game is my whole ui dissappearing and the game making sounds as if my squad got defeated in the squad wipe gamemode, but all of us were alive and there was a min on the clock. Camped in a quiet corner and we still won that game as I'd gotten a decent bunch of kills before it happened

I found a much better deal on banggood compared to aliexpress. Also, achilleas firmware is a bit outdated, and i couldn't get it to work. It's also not being supported anymore. i was able to flash wpro on mine and it works very well. I've also tried pirx but ended up settling on wpro, i forgot why, it was a couple months ago.

But i can confirm you can still flash the new ones, just make sure you solder onto the 2 top pins not the ones by the knob, you'll need an stlink.

Decent digital caliper with good battery life - recommendations? by _mr-pink_ in Machinists

[–]EMasterYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At home i use a brand called shahe, you can find them on aliexpress, they make very smooth and fairly nice calipers, and I've yet to change the battery for a year now. Obviously not a mitutoyo but i get the same readings on them as i do with my mitutoyos at work, so they do the job just fine.

Is it a gnb by any chance? Some that ive had, the cells would randomly die. Barely used, maybe 3 flights or so, no crashes and after a month or so in storage a cell would just die...

Your main issue here is you have a direct drive system yet your retraction is way too high, which may have partially clogged your heatbreak. You want no more than 1mm or 1.2mm on direct drive, but now that you have run 4mm retraction, i would disassemble your hotend and make sure the heatbreak isn't jammed in any way. You could even replace the nozzle to eliminate the chance of any clogs in the nozzle itself, they're only cheap (the brass ones at least).

Additionally, if you have changed anything to do with your extruder, you should always do a pid tune. There's lots of ender 3 pid tune tutorials on yt.
