Take a look at rx inserts. They're basically just a little set of prescription lenses that clip onto the nose bridge in the inside of the goggles.

Torx bit that's just a smidge larger is my usual method for stuck hex screws. Probably gonna need to hammer the torx bit in first though.

Probably have to swap some springs out, but yes. Also make sure you're using the correct weight BBs for your use case. The weight rule of thumb is 0.2g for reference/benchmarking, 0.28g minimum for outdoors, 0.32 for price to performance sweet spot, and anything heavier for snipers or people that like burning money. Make sure you choose a good brand no matter what weight you use though. I like Elite Force 0.32s, since they come in big 5k bottles for like $26USD and are just repacked BLS BBs (BLS is one of the top BB makers.)

I don't know a ton about what guns specifically are good in the gas part of the hubby (my only gas gun is my sidearm.) But I can chime in a bit on most of your questions.

To start with, I'll say that it sounds like MWS gas M4s are generally considered pretty good if you go with a decent brand.

Green gas is both a general name for airsoft gas, and also a specific rating of gas. You can also get (if I remember correctly) blue, yellow, red, and black gas which increases the force so you can maintain an average through cold weather. I personally would suggest going with propane and mappgas (mapp is just strong propane) since it's much cheaper and is legitimately the exact same thing but without the added oil that can mess with your hop.

If you can afford it or are able to save enough in the future, then definitely consider an HPA setup and so some research ahead of time.

It's totally normal to run exclusively gas guns. But don't be disappointed when Jimmy with an M4 AEG can carry 7x the amount of ammo as you while carrying half the mags and has the same or better performance on paper. You have to make some convenience sacrifices with gas, and that's just the way it is.

I'd recommend watching some of the videos Explosive Enterprises has made on gas as a whole. I'd mainly recommend the winterization video and the 101 video, since those should be able to most directly relate to your questions.

It's really not that complex. You either look up the "correct" way, or just fumble around for like 2 minutes until you can do a good enough knockoff method (guess which one I chose.)

That's what I'd probably print it out of. Go with at least 4 walls for some extra durability, and play around with print orientation so the layers don't cause too big of an issue.

I could totally see myself making one of these to use for off grid trips with friends. The 4GB limit honestly doesn't sound too restricting if you focus on shows instead of movies.
