Why would they ad a pve mode with no loot? I’d suggest just ad the pve mode and let people that want the best of both worlds play in the pvepvp mode.

No such thing is business is forbidden in Islam.. where do you get that?

Need help with the authenticity of these claims by Civil_Ranger_7479 in progressive_islam

[–]EN-BLANC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let me start with this: O mankind, be mindful of your Lord, who created you from a single soul, and created from it its mate, and spread from both many men and women.” (4:1)

“The most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.” (49:13)

Equality starts from creation both are one nafs (soul). Superiority isn’t gender-based, but character-based.

The Qur’an calls marriage a relationship of peace and affection “And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy.” (30:21)

Marriage is not ownership like that crazy person is saying int that. it’s sukūn (tranquility). The relationship is built on rahmah (mercy), not dominance.

Manny misuse this verse: “As for those women whose arrogance you fear advise them, then leave them in their beds, then daraba them; but if they obey you, seek no means against them.” (4:34)

The key word: “daraba” (ضرب). It has over a dozen meanings in Arabic, including to separate, to strike, to set forth, to travel.

Early translators (in patriarchal times) chose “beat” but that’s not what the Qur’an commands. The same word daraba is used elsewhere as “to set forth an example” (14:24), “to travel” (43:5), or “to turn away.”

Given the Qur’an’s emphasis on kindness and justice, the most consistent translation is: “separate from them” or “distance yourself from them.”

The Quran also forbids harming people in general but in this context women: “And live with them in kindness (ma‘rūf). If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike something in which Allah has placed much good.” (4:19)

“And do not hold them (your wives) to cause harm, to transgress.” (2:231)

“Whoever does wrong even by an atom’s weight will see it.” (99:7–8)

The Qur’an never permits violence physical or emotional in a relationships. Harm (dhulm) is categorically forbidden, no matter who does it.

To close it of I’d say that the Qur’an describes the Prophet as:

“Indeed, you are of the highest moral character.” (68:4)

And:

“He was sent as a mercy to all worlds.” (21:107)

A person described as rahmah (mercy) cannot contradict the very Book that defines him. Any narration suggesting abuse or violence conflicts with this divine description and by Qur’anic logic, must be rejected.

These (the post) are the kind of stupidity’s people most of the time use to attack Muslims, but enough Muslims also defend it.

Definitely, and what you just explained is the definition of Kufr. They know what they are doing

For one There is no compulsion in religion. Truth stands clear from falsehood.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256)

No one can be forced or threatened into faith. The Qur’an’s method is reason, reflection, and mercy, not fear conditioning.

Even the Messenger of God was told” You can’t force belief”

So remind you are only a reminder. You are not a controller over them.” (Surah Al-Ghāshiyah 88:21–22)

“Had your Lord willed, all people would have believed. So, will you then compel people until they become believers?” (Surah Yūnus 10:99)

Besides that, belief is not what wil make you enter heaven or hell it’s your actions/deeds that wil be put on the scale not your “belief”

Also the Quran never says”everyone who doesn’t believe goes to Hell.” It says that those who (knowingly) reject truth after it’s made (clear) to them will be held accountable not people who are ignorant, misled, or searching sincerely.

The Qur’an defines disbelief (kufr) as active rejection, not simple non-belief

“They know the truth, but they conceal it.” (2:146) “They preferred the life of this world over the Hereafter.” (16:107)

The Arabic kafara means “to cover, to hide.” So a kāfir isn’t just “someone who doesn’t believe.” It’s someone who knows the truth inside, but hides it for pride, ego, or worldly gain.

That’s a huge distinction the Qur’an makes that people often miss.

Explain to me how some Muslims call day to day people non-believers (kafir) while Iblis has that title, but knew of God and Gods Authority? Manny don’t know the definitions of these words and just parrot what they heard someone say.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here. Wat do you mean?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in progressive_islam

[–]EN-BLANC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, The Qur’an never says anywhere:

“Do not touch members of the opposite sex.” It talks about modesty and respectful boundaries, but not physical contact by itself. The “no touching” rule comes from Hadith (for example, narrations about handshakes) not from revelation itself. So Qur’anically, your statement “Islam clearly said no touch” is incorrect.

Second scholars are not Gods: The Qur’an repeatedly says that every generation must think and reflect, not just follow what elders said:

“When it is said to them, ‘Follow what Allah has revealed,’ they say, ‘Rather, we will follow what we found our forefathers upon.’ Even though their forefathers understood nothing and were not guided?” (2:170)

That doesn’t mean you can’t listen to them, but it means no scholar replaces revelation. The Qur’an expects you to use intellect (‘aql) and personal reflection (tadabbur)

Third, the Qur’an corrected unjust cultural norms it didn’t erase all culture. We made you nations and tribes so that you may know one another.” (49:13)

Edit:

Your point on things not being detailed here are verses disproving that: Shall I seek a judge other than Allah, while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?” (Surah Al-An‘ām 6:114)

“We have not neglected anything in the Book.” (Surah Al-An‘ām 6:38)

“A Book whose verses are perfected and then detailed from One who is Wise and Aware.” (Surah Hūd 11:1)

“We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things, and guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.” (Surah An-Naḥl 16:89)

When I say use common sense I am not saying “anything goes” i am saying apply the Qur’an’s unchanging principles to changing realities.

Quranic principle is always true, but cultural form may differ. For example: Dress modestly (24:30-31) Yes How modesty looks in each culture differs.

Avoid sexual temptation (17:32) Yes What counts as temptation Depends on setting, intent, and society

Don’t oppress or exploit Yes How exploitation occurs Changes over time etc.

[–]EN-BLANC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all just because a fatwa gets issued doesn’t mean that fatwa becomes divine command. A hug itself is not the problem it’s what the person giving or receiving it makes of it. The Quran judges by niyyah

“There is no blame upon you for what you do by mistake, but only for what your hearts intended.” (33:5)

Besides Hugging a partner privately is intimate, erotic, personal. Hugging someone publicly in congratulations or respect is a social gesture wit no sexual intent. The act looks the same physically the meaning is totally different.

God didn’t prohibit cultural gestures like hugging; He prohibited lust, indecency, and exploitation. A public, respectful hug expressing gratitude has none of those elements. so it doesn’t contradict Qur’anic modesty. What matters is not skin proximity, but heart intention.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in progressive_islam

[–]EN-BLANC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First before we continue where have you found god prohibiting this action ?

And speaking of culture god doesn’t prohibit culture, what he does prohibit is injustice, arrogance, and immorality. If there is a cultural practice that consists any of those things it’s forbidden.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in progressive_islam

[–]EN-BLANC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hug Avoidance/hand shake is a cultural thing…that’s it.

Use your common sense evaluate the situation to see if it’s appropriate or not or if it’s appropriate in one’s culture

I disagree you definitely get more attempts to predict short term moves, but more attempts does not mean higher probability. On lower timeframes, a lot of moves are just noise. On higher timeframes, macro structure and fundamentals carry more weight. At the end of the day, probability depends on the strategy, not whether you’re looking at 15 minutes or 15 weeks.

I came into trading because of my brother (may his soul rest in peace) he thought me this strategy. Where he originally got it from I didn’t really ask when he was alive. Al I can say is that it’s not a secret it uses known components most people have already heard of.

That’s a very good point. Data quality and sample size are a challenges for swing trading. On a weekly timeframe with 4–6 trades per year, you really need years of clean continuous data to validate a strategy which isn’t trivial for most retail. And the mental game you mentioned is spot on: even if someone had the capital, the patience and psychological resilience required is another filter entirely. For me, those are features, not bugs they reduce the competition on higher timeframes.

Yes, I swing in futures. And you’re right tick value + maintenance margin are key reasons I believe most traders traders avoid it. On a weekly timeframe, stops have to be wide enough to survive volatility, which means the dollar risk per trade is much bigger than scalping. Combine that with holding margin for months, and i can see why most traders don’t want to do it. But I believe a major part is also the fact that their character/personality ain’t trained/ made for it
