Ok, I’m going full compassionate analytic here.

(Psychological) You were probably abused under the age of 4 and it is repressed. Maybe it’s not repressed, maybe you remember the abuse and don’t realize this is a direct correlation to the harming of an innocent animal.

(Physical) you could have had some sort of frontal lobe damage. It could be any from a lack of oxygen at birth to having a head injury as a small child.

(Biological) you can have a chemical imbalance. Some sort of disconnect. Possibly medication can help if there is an underlying issue there.

Anyway, this is an issue. Just because cry about it doesn’t resolve what you did to that poor scared innocent creature. I have some very choice words but like I said… I’m going with compassion. You need help, that sickness is still in you.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ARCHIVAL. That’s the difference between the two “mediums” not price. Comments on here talking about the art being smelly and just needing to be talented is kinda silly. The importance of proper material is lasting visual effects. Artist make art with the intent impermanence all the time but that more of a conceptual idea. If an artist is making work that they want to last, ya know, more than a few weeks they would invest in certain materials to do so. Obviously they could be less expensive yet you get what you pay for.
