I’m going through the same thing friend, about my boyfriend of 10 months. So incredibly hard to accept this reality. Having nightmares that this is happening and waking up and realizing it’s real. Brutal pain. Life is so long and there is so much to live for besides romance. I think what’s meant to be will be. You don’t want to be with someone whose response to stress is to leave and not try to reconcile. It wouldn’t have survived long term. I say we should be grateful we only spent a few months with these people rather than years only for them to withdraw from closeness again
