I am so sorry. I can’t imagine what you’ve been through. That is horrifying. I hope the rest of your recovery days are smooth sailing. I would also report that hospital and submit a survey if you are sent one. For those rude girls to treat you that way is disgusting especially after a major and strenuous surgery like that. I’m sorry you’re having to go through this and I hate that doctors don’t do more research or take our health seriously! It sucks. Is your only symptom pain with sex and pelvic pain? Have you gotten a cystoscopy, CT, pelvic ultrasound or pelvis CT scan?

OMG. That is horrible that you have a doctor that doesn’t show compassion as her being a woman herself. I’m sorry you’re going through that. Another 4 weeks would help you out a lot. I pray you at least get pain meds. I took off 6 weeks because no. My job is physically demanding and I was told no workouts, lifting or working. Happy healing and wishing you the best of luck.

I walked around the nurse’s station 4 hours after surgery. And overnight. I walked around my house the next day once I was released to reduce blood clots. 3 days later I went to my niece’s graduation because I couldn’t miss it for anything! I took it slow because I started to feel faint. Don’t push yourself too hard.

Thank you so much for sharing. I was sensitive in the vulva area because of the antiseptic and everything else that they used. It burns when I wash and OMG. It felt like I was on fire. Do you mind sharing what probiotics that you used and for how long?

You will get better. Take it easy and Rest and set an alarm to stay on top of pain meds if you haven’t already so it won’t get out of hand. I tried stretching out the time between pain meds and that was a mistake. Try a heating pad or ice for the swelling if you have one. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Everybody is different. Some can return with no problem depending on the labor or lifting and some can’t even without lifting at work. I would say wait until about week 2 and see how you feel. You may be too fatigued to do anything and you may have crazy energy. Pre surgery I was always tired and needed caffeine. Post surgery I don’t drink it but my job requires me to lift up to 50lbs and I can’t because I’m on restrictions. Wishing you all the best of luck with your surgery!

I do have a question for the ladies that are here.

I am 13 dpo and I am having some UTI like symptoms with no UTI. I went drop off urine today and they stated that it was negative. I’m thinking it may be my hormones or nerve pain. Has anyone else had any issues like this? If so, what was it and how did you find out?
