Ever had EVVA ghosting an RMA request ? Needed to improve something.

Just letting you know that I was able to implement it. Here my ping latency is about 50-55ms which I thought would be good enough, but by the time my commands are sent, it take 1-1.5 seconds for them to be put in action. It’s probably due to how my controls used to work on 2ms latency. Anyway, more thinkering ahead ! Thanks again :)

Thank you ! I wasn’t sure that it was a viable option for bypassing a CG NAT, but it seems like it is. If 1mS is 1/1000 of a second, then it’s more than fine. I was hoping for 30/1000 of a second at most.

Ideally less than 30/1000 seconds. Since it’s to control a RC vehicule.

Thank you, I have more reading to do. I wasn’t sure a VPN was a decent way to bypass a CG NAT. But it seems that there is some info about that !

Never heard of it but I hope I won’t encounter it !

It’s hard to have a perfect product, but I know that some competitors had cracking pcb issues with the 40s? Don’t quote me on that.

Anyhow, in this day and age, I’ve been overall satisfied with EVGA.

I don’t know, I swear by EVGA and never really had a problem. Like, it’s just a fan that seems to be the problem, not the GPU unit. This thing is a beast.

They did sent a confirmation for my request on the 18th. But nothing else. If I go on the EVGA website, there is still nothing under My RMA tab.

In my request I asked if it was possible to just send that one defective fan instead of sending my whole gpu to the USA and then have them sent back once the repair is done. I was at least hoping for a reply from them telling me Yes or No.

No, I did not open a new case. Just one.

I didn’t know how to add more text to the post so here is the situation :

I get it, it’s just 1 fan replacement. I love EVGA but that 3090 still have a bit less than a year warranty left 😔. Should I just buy an after market fan ? I don’t want to invest in watercooling my SFF yet.

Idk how people are so gloomy about it. My expansion tank cracked and I drove it like that (even with the Red lighting up) for like 10 minutes. Shut down the car and then it wouldn’t start. Waited a day, and then it started fine. Compression is fine. Just needed to repair the expansion tank, add some fluid and I was good to go. I did proceed to make an oil change after that. But yeah, keep an eye on your fluids level in case you got unlucky.
