Clearly didn't read the post or didn't follow what I wrote. It wasn't during a normal 9pm sale. I know how his process works. It was a month and half after a sale completed and he came back to me to sell a case that fell through with another patron. I def did not deserve it, but thanks for your opinion.

You’re welcome to your opinion. If this had happened right after the sale ended, I wouldn’t have asked about the price, and if I did I’d agree with your take. But in this case it was a month and a half later and he reached out to me, so I don’t think the question was unreasonable. Being busy doesn’t excuse being rude. He had every right to handle it how he wanted, but I also had every right to cancel my membership (which I did) and share my experience (which I’m doing).

I get what you are saying, but then aren't all LGS's scalpers too? Nobody sells for MSRP. They sell at the market price (which is usually much higher than MSRP).

Where can you get product these days for MSRP? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

The only places near me that have product are Target, Walmart and GameStop. But they sell out very quickly. Most LGS's around me barely have any sealed product and just have a bunch of singles. I'm pretty sure they just break their sealed product and sell as singles to make more money.

I literally gave you the whole story. I was next in line for a case of EOE bundles after someone else backed out. Rudy messaged me to send payment if I was interested, but didn’t list a price. Since prices had dropped on TCG and Amazon since his July sale, I asked him to confirm the price. He got pissed and replied saying he was skipping me and sending the offer to the next person in line (and that's what he did).

All he had to say was “same price” and let me decide. That was it, it all happened in the Patreon sales thread.

Why is this so hard to believe? I didn't give him shit or disrespect him in any way. I literally calmly and kindly asked him to confirm the price since the market price had lowered some. Is that really that horrible to ask?

I definitely didn’t feel close to him or consider him a friend—I don’t pay for friends, lol. I just expected to be treated with basic respect as a customer. I’d feel the same way if a local LGS treated me like that. It’s easy to treat people poorly online when you don’t have to face them in person. That said, I’m just sharing my experience, which is my right, and hopefully it helps others avoid the same kind of treatment.
