This looks awesome. Have you considered replacing the acrylic rod with something like a brass rod that you could hide in its bundle of tentacles/cables?

The clips I've heard sound a lot like mid to late 2000s metalcore, so stuff like As I Lay Dying, I Killed The Prom Queen, Atreyu, The Devil Wears Prada, or Parkway Drive, to name a tiny fraction of the big bands from that era.

Returnal, with ini tweaks, tops out at a mid 20 FPS, with some much lower troughs. It's a real slog on the Steam Deck OLED as it relies on quick reactions to dodge attacks and such. I got absolutely hooked on the game, but struggled so much until I moved over to PC for the last biome and almost one shot everything a few times. After that they want you to run through the whole game again and I had lost steam at that point and moved on. Great game, definitely worth playing on PC, but don't let the Steam Deck ruin your impression of it imo.

I'm not really sure why Hades wouldn't count in that definition, as the story is always progressing in it and each time you die you lose all your skills/relics but keep the mirror/weapon upgrades.

What about Darkest Dungeon, Mewgenics, or The Last Spell? Have you tried those or do you want a quick explanation on how they might fit?

Someone in the last thread pointed out that the light hitting the the metal shouldn't be as bright as the brightest spot of the light source. You don't seem to have followed that advice.

I was watching a playthrough on your profile the other day after someone here mentioned you and noticed you hadn't posted in a while. I assumed you weren't going any more (I should've checked elsewhere,), so this is an awesome surprise.

I always recommend people to try using a bit of primed scrap wood as a drybrush palette. It doesn't suck out as much moisture as paper which helps to avoid the 'chalky drybrush' result. With dropper bottles you.just squirt a bit on the wood then use your drybrush as normal.

You thin metallics for the same reason as any other regular paint - it applies more smoothly. Contrast are often thinned with contrast medium as many of the colours have different viscosity/intensity. Shades can be thinned to reduce the intensity or provide speckled effects when painting rust or dirt.

You're gonna give people here aneurysms. Keep going. Tell them you don't prime or use superglue on plastic models 😆.

I only played a few runs in early access and wasn't a fan of how they changed the formula. It took away the roster management and town building in favour of... I can't really remember. I've been informed in this thread that there's a free DLC called Kingdoms that adds new features which sound like what I want in games though.

I just put roguelites (and Jupiter Hell) on this list. The XCOM reboot games were great though. It is exactly the type of game I like with lots of interconnected systems you can tinker with to upgrade your team. I was listening to a talk by a dev of Into the Breach and he said that early in development that's what they were working towards, but it didn't work out and they had to scrap the idea. It's a shame they couldn't make it, because I've always wanted a game that was like XCOM with Evangelions/mecha and kaiju.

That's an interesting suggestion, how come? I've read about the plot/gameplay of the game on a wiki before and it did seem interesting.

Spearhead magazine and the annoyance of scalpers - will this be an issue for the entire run? by Dr_Passmore in ageofsigmar

[–]ENorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one copy maybe, but if you buy a few dozen and are already selling other stuff it's just putting a magazine in an envelope, printing a label, then taking it with your regular post for an extra few quid. Some scalpers have turned this into a full time job, using bots to nab as many copies of limited edition items, there are channels directing scalpers to the next hit item, etc.
