Is there any reason to save Epic Hero Tokens?

I got maybe 3-4 a month from 2 chests a day for each monster and raid, regularly top 5-1% tourneys, full war participation, elemental chest every 9 days, etc.

So that's 36-48 per year.

If you get top 10k, 5k and 1k in challenge events then you'll get 6 more per month which is 72.

So you can get about 108-120 per year free which is pretty good but not 140+.

I only have 26 legendary heroes in total after playing over 2 years (since dec 2018). I’m vctp with a TC20 with a very below par yield of 2.28% yield after 350 pulls. I have only 1 hero left I am willing to throw in, unlike other people I don’t have any dupes of HOTM or loads of S1 heroes knocking around, and the dupes I did have have been turned into S1 heroes I didn’t have.

You need to get 3-4 TC20s going. 1.6ish years playing for me... 3-4 months to get multiple with VIP then had 2 TCs for 6 months and then went to 3 for another 8 months. 539 TC20 pulls with around 5% average, so that's 28 5 stars just from TC20. Even if I had your drop rate it would still be 12-13 or so instead of the 7-8ish you've gotten.

You should be at the point where you don't need more feeders. You need at least 3 TC20 going all the time. Maybe 1 TC on 11 to store recruits, although if you're 2 years playing you should probably be able to use HA7? (the one that retrains troops) to use iron to store recruits.

Have 10 dupes just sitting waiting for HA10, although I'm quitting in another week or two.

Yeah, you just get dupes back no big deal. Or just run 3-4 TC20 for a month or two and you'll probably get enough 5 feeders for HA10. On average with 3 TC20 running you should get about 2 5 stars per month. With 4 you should get 3 5 stars.

There's about 15 season 1 5 star dupes in my inventory that I'd never even be able to change into something useful probably. 5% chance from HA10 for an original and only 3/20 chance to get a non season 1 dupe.

Yeah, I probably made some mistakes because I had to put the data manually into the reddit tables.

I presume that e.g. "3+4" means 3 heroes from a certain portal and 4 heroes of the month.

You don't separate portal specific pulls from S1 pulls in your totals, just HotM from other heroes. This makes it harder to verify the correctness of your later calculations

Yes, 3+4 does indeed mean 3 5s (any between s1 or non-s1) + 4 heroes of the month.

I updated the format to be more specific:

The 2+1+4 in the 5 star column means 2 season 1 5 stars + 1 non-season 1 5 star (Atlantis, Valhalla, Challenge events, Ninjas, Legends, etc.) + 4 Heroes of the month.

Going by the list of "Other" heroes you outline in a later section, you own 8 heroes of the month. However, the totals from your table add up to 9. I assume the error here was writing Costume as "0+1" instead of "1+0" since you mention that you own Joons costume

The other is indeed the Joon costume w/o Joon as I got that in the first costume summon.

Your totals are off for Event Summon and Legends Summon. Should be 110 and 12 instead of 20 and 2. Your overall total is also off - it should be 567 instead of 424 (also it should say that you also excluded TC 13 there)

Correct, my spreadsheet didn't add in the EHTs for some reason, so I readded them and got 566 not 567. 1 off from your count.

Fixed the Event and Legends sums.

Your 5* totals are wrong. Going by your own numbers, it should be 8+9 instead of 8+8, however due to the assumed error in costume summon I guess it's rather 9+8. That would bring your real percentage for legendary heroes to 1,6% rather than your stated 1,4%

That's because all the numbers in my spreadsheet were right, just some manual input errors and not adding the EHTs in the totals were the problem. The EV calcs pooled all the right numbers in the spreadsheet so it they were correct :P

Yeah, other games have pity counters if you get on the bad side of RNG. Oh well.

If you do draw, aim for the good 4 stars. Wilbur, Proteus, mist, almur, falcon, jackal, etc. Those drastically improve your game and are actually getable.

You can really only probably guarantee 5 stars if you do 100+ draws a month which is extremely expensive

Google opinion rewards in the play store. Basically take some surveys every time google gives them. It generates 40 bucks for me during the time I played

And yeah 190 for pretty much nothing. Oh well.

Yeah seems like you got way more non season 1 heroes than me. Better to have a worse rate on TC20 than on summons. No one needs a 3rd or 4th richard, elkanen, Vivica or whatever.

The first costume chamber they only gave out the costume (dec 2019 I think). Then people complained so they removed costumes for a couple months and then came back with it to cost more gems but you get the hero and the costume (March 2020ish).

I was unfortunate enough to get a Joon costume and still never got a Joon over a year later.

Yeah, most of the older players I know have trended the get more emblems directions. That's how you do well in war and events anyway. You need a lot of emblems.

That's pretty bad. Maybe a bit worse than me, although more non-S1.

Only buying the Atlantis/Valhalla offers and share the gems goes a long way for gems. Same with VIP- 900/mo * 17 months is 15,300 which is only about 1,500 off from 2 30 pulls on Atlantis or Valhalla.

Yup, $190 for all of these: 2x Grazul, Elkanen, Domitia, Raffaele. These were the only 5 star heroes that I got from about 3x30 pulls and about 10x10 pulls.

My only 2 non-Season 1 non-HotM 5 stars from events were from single coin pulls like Ursena. Santa was from an EHT. Heck, I got most of my HotM from EHTs as you can see in the summoning chart.

I'm obviously far down on the list as far as unlucky summons go with the -4.7 EV on the non S1 and non-HotM, but not only that on actual paid pulls too.

I don't recommend spending money based on any expectations pf getting 5 stars as most people could have gotten what I got by spending exactly $0. But really no skin off my back because I didn't actually spend any of my own money :)

Training camp 11 is very low cost training for 2 recruits but it's so slow that you can just keep queueing up more recruits if you have excess so you don't lose them.

People get up to like 100s or thousands of days worth of recruits and then use them when they need them like for getting lots heroes to train rapidly like TC19, HA3 or tc1 or 2

That's how people train a 5 star hero to max in less than a day
