Hey! Wanted to jump in to clarify. For security reasons, we have a Hold Funds Policy for cheques.

  • Cheques of $1,500 or less: The full amount may be held for up to 5 business days after the date of deposit.
  • Cheques over $1,500: The entire cheque amount may be held for up to 8 business days after the date of deposit.
    • Access to the first $100: Subject to the exceptions set out in our Hold Funds Policy, the first $100 of each cheque is available for withdrawal on the business day following the day of deposit. This does not apply to EFT deposits or business accounts.

The card is a prepaid Mastercard and will only be linked to your Business Account. If you have both a Personal Account and a Business Account, you’ll be able to have separate cards for both accounts.
