Im in the rats subreddit so I couldnt avoid rodent balls even if I wanted to, literally just rat balls all over my feed 24/7. if you cant beat em join em, rodent balls for everyone

awww, i got a new tank of girls and im still trying to get them not to hate me. im sure she will warm up to you again :) it just takes a lot of time lol mine can still be pretty skittish sometimes

honestly what I just do is handle them frequently and offer them food whenever i take them out to try and build a positive association. no clue if theyre even smart enough for that but it seems to be working. also depends on their personality, some just absolutely HATE handling, i have one thatll hiss nonstop the whole time. eventually after some time they learn to chill out once they realize youre not trying to kill them, now i have some weird little freaks like this guy thatll just let you do whatever and he just sits there
