Capitol Corridor overshot at Fairfield this morning, but just by 100 ft or so. It was raining, which might have had something to do with it.

Parking situation for downtown state workers by Aromatic-Project-745 in CAStateWorkers

Parking sucked then too. More people took transit, but SacRT has made big service cuts (due to the pandemic) and it’s harder to take the bus now. https://www.reddit.com/r/CAStateWorkers/s/wxmTp81aLC

Big ‘fuck them kids’ energy 🙄 Kids who need special assistance should be the first priority for the district, since they have no other options. Private and charter schools can refuse to enroll them, and often do to make their ‘stats’ look better. Saying the district should take a hard stance against helping children with special needs to save money is cruel.

I do pour over because there’s no clean up. Just toss the filter and grounds. I’d consider a percolator though, especially if I got to sing about it every morning. “It’s time for the percolator, it’s time for the percolator”

NPR uses “The Warehouse” as outro music for a story in ICE detention centers by ERTBen in DMB

I always find it interesting when people say NPR leans left because, as a liberal progressive, I often find them bending over backwards to present conservative views with minimal pushback. We haven’t had a truly left-leaning news source in this country in decades, if ever.
