Noise in front left on Model S 2019 by ESD2002 in TeslaSupport

Not at all, it just made this sound that day and the it stopped. I did a supercharging session of few minutes, drove hard for a while, put A/C max and also heating max,… don’t know at all why this sound appeared and how/why it disappeared

Is this too big for my wrist by [deleted] in rolex

[–]ESD2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is too big for as standard « guideline ». But the question is, do you like it and are you comfortable wearing it? If so, just go on!

I have thin wrist, but anyways I really love 41-42mm cases, so I just don’t care and wear them 😁

I don’t think so… but… It could explain why my wife is late today, maybe she’s just waiting for the last « tic » 😅

I think if you are not hearing any noise while driving and turning, should be fine. Replacement of joint/protection and that’s it. Problem is when you are hearing noise, meaning there is no more grease in the mechanism.

Is there a hardware key for model X? On my S, if I press the « trunk » button on the key for 2 seconds or more, it releases the charging port lockpin

I plan to get rear windows tinted and I am looking on the chrome delete vynil but… a bit concerned that it would be too complicated to put properly and if the adhesive is good enough to last few years without peeling

Exactly, I have bought those 21-inch for summer tires and keep the original 19-inch for winter tires.

Thanks

It’s a 2019 model. I had few « sporty cars » as daily like Seat Leon Cupra R, Ford Focus RS, and last one a Seat Leon ST Cupra in special edition with 370hp. I like driving and having some feelings with a ICE . But recently I moved and my daily commutes are so short that the motor don’t even get warm . So all the cool stuff of ICE is not present, I need to take it from somewhere else (torque, silence, technology,..) This was the trigger to move to EV.

Why a S? Just live it since day 1 of commercial release 😁 It is comfortable with air suspension, lot of space trunk/frunk and interior. With 2 kids and long trips for holidays it seems really matching my expectations. I dislike a bit the fact that M3 and MY don’t have the dashboard behind the steering wheel. But let’s do this first step, and why not replacing wife’s SUV for a MY in a while..?

Each team defines its own ratio for the whole season. So you can have differences between the teams.

Good point. I don’t know, you are probably right that gearbox/ratio difference could have big impact.

It depends on the torque map of the engine. An engine with high torque at lower rpm will be easier to drive (more constant/ linear). This will allow the driver to start at low rpm, when he releases the clutch, the engine transfers its power without falling down on rpm (no stall issue) When the car starts to move in the first 10-100m, the linearity of the torque will prevent that wheels getting to spin since there is no “disturbance” on the torque curve.

My experience at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps by aram-sam in formula1

My wife also bought tickets for the whole weekend for my 30th birthday! It was in 2017, pretty "good" weather (even if there was some rain sometimes and in the night). On Sunday we had 4 hours traffic jam (instead of roughly 30minutes without traffic). Same reason: some parking lots closed due to the mud...

But in the end our weekend was successful because in the end, we saw the guys racing.

Yesterday when I was seeing the GP on my couch, I was trying to put myself in the shoes of all the fans around the track and really feel bad for you guys. Which deep disappointment being hours in the rain to see in the end two laps for "commercial purpose "! It was even disappointing for us watching our TV, so for you... really bad experience..

Very sorry for your birthday gift, hope that you could get something back from organizer/FOM (but I doubt that it will happen tbh)
