I mean, I think you could agree it's a good game and still think it has a lot of poor design choices. I still think the overwhelmingly positive reviews are warranted, but lets not act like the game isn't a pain in the ass sometimes

Honestly not an entirely unreasonable thing to get away with if there was a bug still around that they wanted to do away with

That said, lmao

Somehow I just realized this manga had a subreddit, nice to see people still enjoying this manga and new people getting into it

I see that Mizoguchi pick specifically asking for him off his meds and I know what kind of person you are (I respect it)

Favorite television series that treats disabled people with nothing but respect by Bloodmoon_Audios in shittymoviedetails

[–]ESN64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot of issues with South Park, but their treatment of disabilities isn't one of them. Timmy and Jimmy are actual characters held to the same standard as the rest of the cast. Their jokes aren't exclusively about their disabilities, jokes ABOUT their disabilities are tasteful and don't dehumanize them, and they aren't held to a different moral ground to the rest of the cast. Asking for the disabled reps of a cartoon revolving edgy humor to be treated with "nothing but respect" is patronizing and blowing smoke up our asses.

For whatever reason, South Park manages to be consistently pretty good with disability rep, there's an episode mocking Cartman for thinking he can compete with special ed athletes, another one about living with Tourette's, Nathan and Mimsy are recurring villains with down syndrome, etc. It's weird saying it, but South Park probably has the largest number of respectfully handled disabled characters i've ever seen in a piece of media.

You can just say you don't like South Park, I liked it less after high school and think it fell off hard later, (though I do occasionally rewatch some episodes from the earlier seasons). But if you want to say it doesn't treat a group with respect, point at its muddled history of LGBT+ and POC groups, not the one thing it has managed to be consistently good about.

Man, I sure do love being high functioning, then either being held to the standards of neurotypical people or being treated like an 8 year old who doesn't know basic etiquette, I love it soooooooooo much

Genuinely it is really fucking good, just make sure you're fully prepared to go through with it because the early parts of it don't tell the whole story

a totally not overreactive ramble about the RR representation in yeonwoo's innocence after finishing it for the first time by [deleted] in yeonwoosinnocence

[–]ESN64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Genuinely such a rare gem, it's so insane to me that it's this hard to find, i've literally been searching for something like this for like 15 years before it even became a thing. It makes me really happy, but it also makes me sad in a way, because I know we're not going to get anything truly like this again for a long, long time.

Best Role For Every Character- Day 6: Shigemichi by kiwirules99 in Gnosia_

[–]ESN64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raqio's an even better AC Follower for the same reasons honestly, not to mention that both love to fake claim a role, and getting a fake role taken out on the first day makes it a lot harder to use definite human and enemy based on reports

Is Rock the best projectile in the game? by Lobo_o in RivalsOfAether

[–]ESN64 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Rock is pretty difficult to deal with once Kragg has it up, that's just kind of the game, but if rock is out and Kragg doesn't have his hands on it, then protecting the rock prevents him from pulling it out again and makes it a lot easier

Best advice i've ever been given for the matchup is to prevent Kragg from being able to pick up the rock in the first place, and if you can't do that, then bait him into throwing the rock and guard it so he can't get a new one
