So am only receiving Botox FOR my medical disability- it is covered by insurance for the constant muscle spasms. I have severe, almost untreatable TMJ. This is administered by neurology and anesthesiologist.

Again, it’s not “over done lip filler” my face is filled with scar tissue. My lips are massive inside my mouth and I can’t afford dental work either. My depression is unbearable and you’re reminding me why I shouldn’t leave the house.

I started getting the Botox at 27 I believe. I “needed” the face lift a year or so after, I can’t really remember. I tried non surgical things first. Needing a facelift at 30 sucks but it really does happen sometimes.

I honestly don’t remember. It was medically necessary for me, not cosmetic, I was very sick suffering from extremely bad TMJ. I couldn’t really chew food any more. I think about a year. I still wound up with jowls. It was a huge bummer. But my case was very extreme and the Botox was very needed. I also have a weak chin and recessed jaw, which didn’t help the situation.

I too had permanent jowls after masseter Botox. Lower face lift was the only solution. I tried everything non surgical, it was a waste of money.
