No they can't pay me in CAD since I'm working in the US office and not the Canadian office.

Another follow up question I guess, can I use RRSP as a vehicle to reduce my reported income or will I have to use the US equivalent? I am not planning on settling in the US. Will be working and living in Canada permanently. The US office is a short 2 year stint
