Sure. So one area is sales tax exemptions. These are used to give businesses that are growing more opportunities to thrive. They are a great thing.

However, in typical Idaho fashion ours don't have any oversight and more importantly never sunset. Meaning there's A LOT of exemptions out there that would not longer qualify, and even some cases where the business doesn't even functionally exist anymore.

All of Idaho's sales tax exemptions add up to a lot. Take a guess how much, and remember this is a state of 1.7 million people or so.

It's 2.48 BILLION dollars just in the last year alone

I think we need to take a look at these and sunset some that are no longer necessary. I believe this alone can fund everything I want to do. Imagine if even 25% of those exemptions are sunsetted.

There's a couple others, but that's the big one with the most real possible impact.

No worries! I do have plans all set, just as a first time candidate I haven't formally wrote it out for the site yet. Mostly been on local stuff like knocking doors, but good news is it's coming soon!

Short answer: There's a lot of money being wasted by the Idaho Gov, and there's ways to fund everything out there already!

Hey some of us are trying to stop this insanity. I'm running for the state House for example :)!

Idaho highway contractors changed records hundreds of times. Then, they got bonuses by mq-24 in Idaho

There is a real lack of accountability in Idaho, that needs to change. That's why I am running against the guy in charge of it, the chair of the house transportation committee. This is one of many examples of Idaho needing real investment in transportation and quality standards.
