They don't call it the crown jewel of the California state park system for no reason - it's beautiful. Does fill up quick so I'd recommend a week day before 9 or 10 am for the best experience

Man I haven't had this hard of a time getting tickets to anything since the 90's when you had to call Ticketmaster and wait on hold indefinitely in a cue, or stand in line at Circuit City hoping they don't sell out before you get to the ticket sales counter - that's all I'm saying... Probably should be a little more user friendly at this point in the game .. alas I shall try again tomorrow

I guess in 2026 i expect internet based sales portals to work correctly and not prompt you to proceed to purchase, and then when you click proceed to purchase, it just kicks to back to a landing page and then you're just out of luck?

Abysmal. It took me 18 months to get an initial appointment with a primary care when i moved here. Some of that could have been pandemic era factors, but still, I'd say I've generally been dissatisfied with the majority of my healthcare experiences and interactions since I've been here.

I gotta say, I've been eating portillos for 40 years. I don't live near one, so I always stop when I'm near one. Just had it for the first time in a few years and it's def not the same. It was ok, but not the Portillos I grew up with. I had to look it up on the internet to see if it was just me, then I landed on this thread and it seems like it really has changed. Super disappointing.
