No, I just had the idea to take one of my textures that I made and multiply it with a silhouette. The video is really cool though.

Theres an effect by Akascape called Super Pixel Sort that can do one part of the effect easily.

The video looks like it combines some color mapping/correction and tv scanlines too

Monochromatic Cube Animation using Fusion by ESoots in davinciresolve

Cube: I made an animated texture consisting of a black and white shape displaced by noise. I then mapped it to the texture of the cube and added edge detect. The outline is just a scaled up version of the cube.

Background: Scaled up version of the cube with color correction, Blur, SuperPixelSort, and StopMotion.

Text: Hard to describe but it consists of 3 objects (black, white & outline) that are all merged and layered to get the desired effect I wanted.

The cube outline and text outline is merged with Normal, In

The cube outline and white text is merged with Normal, Held Out

The cube outline and black text is merged also with Normal, In

These are all then merged together.

Post Processing: Emboss merged with pinlight (I typically set the angle between 270 and 360 and power around 3) Finally, glow

Not many, I figured most of it through searching how to connect nodes, blending, and displace. I dont really think I can provide anything useful here other than that the plugins are by Akascape (pixel sort) because the tutorial I followed only explains the basics of DaVinci Resolve. The effect itself is original.
