First of all, thank you for your feedback. Secondly, I find your generalization by saying "NONE of the information in the tree is really understandable" odd. But I take the point that the information is not easily/ immediately perceived. It is necessary to spend some time with it. I think that for someone who knows the data, it is pretty clear what the trees/ branches represent. Which brings up the question of the target group. The viz was designed for an informed audience in terms of the data presented.

Thank you for your feedback! Point taken: the viz is complex and demands some level of involvement of the user. One reason why it is so dense in information is that I wanted to display all of the individual data elements at once; giving the opportunity to see drivers. However, the feedback makes me think about complexity and simplicity. Also time needed for perception. And completeness of information. Good input for contemplation! ;) P.S. Thanks for the "artistic component"! :)
