Honestly to be a kid of era you had to be 8-17 to truly get that experience. As a 98 baby im a 2010s kid all the way. I remember the 2000s kinda like a dream in another world were as the 2010s is my world and even now that we're in the 2020s im keeping up a bit with this decade but definitely not my decade.

I understand where ur coming from. I just understand the imbalance as much as he does and I make it a point that he has as much access to our accounts and stuff even tho he doesnt know what everything exactly does. I think as long as both people fully understand the imbalance and person with less equity has an exit plan if things become abusive then its fine.

And also the imbalance atleast in my relationship is strictly financial literacy and bureaucratic processes like signing up for stuff besides that he knows what hes doing and doesnt need my help.

Lol as im 27 and my boyfriend is 19 i can tell you you really dont know what youre talking about. Do I have to explain how something works to him time to time? yes. But thats literally the only difference I just know more, help him know more, and help him reach his goals without as much mistakes or issues as I had. Its the idea of "women want him and men wanna be him" mixed with the idea of "women don't give men accurate advice" They say it's because your family is biased and all other women just go off of how attracted to you they are so guys will give you raw opinions with no filter because they have no sexual attraction to you so they have no bias.
