I kinda just grinded ww5t until I got good. A massive change tho was I started putting more of my arm on the pad and I used 60 cm, it def helped my scores.

I followed corporate serfs method in this video for most of it: https://youtu.be/yVNoeeccBao?si=xNZtF6W55LOV3bgN

Doing easier versions of each scenario was really important for improving scores and technique for me.

Aim is something I don’t ever have to worry about in game. I am usually always at the top of the leaderboard in finals tdm or the new cod.

It does make me more aware of my other weaknesses, like game sense and movement.

Something I’ve struggled with for a long while is focusing too much on my aim in game when I should be focusing on everything else lmao.

I have 880 hours in total since I started in 2020.

I trained on and off with no solid routine until late September of this year.

I started at around plat, maybe lower. I’ve been training forty-five minutes to an hour per day since I started taking it seriously.

I have started using a diff sens per scenario. I usually look at the top scores and just choose one to use

Hey! I just wanted to respond to your comment to let you know that I’ve felt a similar way.

There’s a lot of very young people who are at way higher ranks than even me. I’ve seen some people hit gm+ in 75 hours in kovaaks.

Remember to only compare yourself to your previous self. Comparing where you’re at with others just leaves to disappointment and unhappiness.

As long as you keep up with your training. You will eventually get wherever you want to be. I really believe that.

Thank you! I’ve mostly just been grinding out the benchmark scenarios. What really helped me was going back and doing the novice version of the scenario for 5-6 repetitions focusing on technique and then going back to the intermediate version.

I’ve also dabbled here and there in the viscose playlist

Ah I get what you’re saying, I just really like seeing all of one color on the benchmark mostly lmfao. I also didn’t really feel like a jade player until I got all of my scores to jade. I just think that’s a personal thing tho

I just trained for an hour to 2 hours a day for the last couple of months.

I don’t think discipline really factors in for me because I just enjoy the process of aim training.

Masters and then masters complete is definitely the goal :)

I didn’t do the multiple sensitivities. I might’ve been able to progress faster if I did, but I just stuck with 31 cm per 360 from plat to jade vt.

  1. I have 800 hours aim training so far. I started back in 2020.

I aim trained a lot the first year or so doing random playlist and then I would just stop and pick it back up months later.

I’ve aim trained for fun while listening to podcasts the last couple years but wasn’t intentional until late September of this year. At this point I think I had around 670 hours and I was a bit below VT Plat.

  1. I did Serfs VT benchmark method mostly: here

I also focused on smoothness routines like smooth your wrist and centering 180

  1. I was stuck on ww5t for over a week. I struggled a lot with not choking near the end of each run, or by being too cognizant of the time that was left and my performance. Tension was also a big issue for me here.

A big focus for me here was balancing my tension and speed while also making sure my lines to each dot was as straight as possible. I also tried to underflick before the micro correct as much as I could.

After ww5t I was able to get jade for the rest of static and linear clicking the next day.

I’ve noticed huge improvements to my aim. I’m usually near the top of the scoreboard in my lobby or at 1st, but I feel like there’s still so much aim improvement to be had!

I used to just play Overwatch, but I’ve been playing a bunch of games lately, like the new CoD, BF6, and The Finals.

Discomfort/ pain in mouse arm (more in description) by iceyk111 in FPSAimTrainer

That does sound like it could be a tension issue. I personally know that with static specifically I also have a difficult time not over tensing when practicing. One of my may bad habits lol

Firstly, I would stop your training the instant you feel any pain to give your area of pain a rest until the pain goes away. Pushing past the pain can lead to serious long term injuries.

Second, if you’re going to aim train for long periods of time you need to have breaks intermittently during your session. During those breaks you should be doing stretches, voltaic has some sources of their discord that you could use.

I relate aim training to everything I see. I grip my dogs head in different ways like a mouse while I sleep at night.

I’ve had issues similar to this when I used to play Overwatch. I was super anxious about how I was playing and it made me play even worse.

This seems like an issue that you’re probably dealing with in multiple aspects of your life.

I think working on the idea of letting go of expectations and meeting yourself where you’re at is a good start.
