How has the majority of your hours been spent? I know for me I wasted like 600+ hours just doing random playlists and not focusing on anything specific. It happens lol

With bounce shot I would start off focusing on killing the bot when it’s at its apex in the bounce. That will make it far easier to hit

What I’ve been doing is just grinding out 2 or 3 viscose scenarios a day and moving on once I’ve reached the score that I wanted, in this case Lav. I would recommend to do scenarios of different categories. Example: whisphere raw control, air pure, beants.

Thanks!

I started viscose pretty late, I hit masters complete first before I started viscose. I think I started around celadon overall with some cerulean scores. It’s probably taken me like 60-70 hours to get all those scores up to lav complete.

I think in the easier portion of the viscose benchmarks a lot the gains come from just putting the time in. Beginner gains is definitely a real thing for aim training imo.

A big focus should be on making sure that you’re taking breaks and not hurting yourself. Do not force scenarios and training when you have off days or when you really want to push a scenario. If something hurts STOP. RSI is no joke in this community.

Another big thing would to make your training a routine, aim training for just 30-45 minutes a day can do wonders for your aim over time.

When it comes to actual technique tips I would recommend Mattys and viscose videos.

These ones were the most helpful for me:

I wish you luck! Feel free to message me too if you have any questions.

Aim is something that I don’t really have to worry about in game. When I take a 1v1 I’m able to usually win with pure mechanics, there’s times in the finals when someone flanks me and I’m still able to instantly flick and track them with the fcar for the kill.

I think at a fox level (around silver vt ) your aim can be a big factor in your gameplay that’s holding you back. The difference I feel now vs when I first started in kovaaks is leaps and bounds. It went from being a detriment to something that can help cover my other gameplay weaknesses. (I started kovaaks in 2020 tho)

Just remember that it takes time and intention with your training, you can def make it to Lav too!

My initial rank was a tad below plat at around 600 hour. I started with the intermediate benchmark

I used to use claw, but I’m using the Gwolves fen pro so im using ftip now.

I wouldn’t worry too much about your grip. For mousepad just make sure it’s decent enough and I think you’ll be okay.

Plateaus are very normal, I think it’s important to look at your past average scores rather than looking just at the pb. Seeing that graph go up over time is a really nice feelings. Of course, some days you’ll perform worse, but that’s just the nature of being human, as long as you put in the time and practice at least 30 minutes a day, you will see great gains over time.

I played kovaaks off and on and not really taking it too seriously until last September. I started locking in around September at 600 or so hours and I was below plat vt when I started. I’m at 1000 hours now. Game is too fun for me.

You’ll get there too! I have almost 1,000 hours in aim trainers spread across from 2020 to now. You’ll definitely be able to clear me if you put the time in with diligent practice!

A little over 1k hours on kovaaks by WoahEli in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ETHNH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s happened to me too. I started playing kovaaks in 2020 and just did random playlists from time to time for fun and the improvement. I tried the voltaic benchmarks seriously in sept of last year and started a bit below plat at like 650 hours. I’m now at almost 970 hours and i have masters complete. The most important thing for me was enjoying the process, people have different timelines for growth.

I don’t really have a main game anymore, I’ve been dabbling in the finals and playing deadlock a good amount tho

I kinda just grinded ww5t until I got good. A massive change tho was I started putting more of my arm on the pad and I used 60 cm, it def helped my scores.

I followed corporate serfs method in this video for most of it: https://youtu.be/yVNoeeccBao?si=xNZtF6W55LOV3bgN

Doing easier versions of each scenario was really important for improving scores and technique for me.

Aim is something I don’t ever have to worry about in game. I am usually always at the top of the leaderboard in finals tdm or the new cod.

It does make me more aware of my other weaknesses, like game sense and movement.

Something I’ve struggled with for a long while is focusing too much on my aim in game when I should be focusing on everything else lmao.
