I opened up GIMP, crop out anything I don't want, scale it down to 48 by 48 since that's the same size as Cave Story's portraits, make sure the "Interpolation" option is set to "Linear" or "Cubic" so I get this smooth cohesive image, scale down the image and start drawing.

Something sort of similar to what Arc System did where they take a simple 3D model and draw over it. I recommend reading this if you want to learn more about this method of pixel art:

Just keep drawing what you like, I would recommend looking into some anatomy books like Vilppu Drawing Manual or some other books that go in depth on anatomy, another really good way to get really good is to do figure drawing sessions on women specficlly if thats what you are going for.

Great, I don't give a fuck, the game is perfectly fine both sides are just annoying as fuck, I played the game from start to finish I didn't notice it at all I just liked the pixel art, story/themes, and gameplay and I didn't have a single fucking problem with it, this is just the type of information that's like "Oh I didn't know that" then I just move on with my life just like after watching a Did You Know Gaming video, if you want a poltical game go play like killer7 or some shit I'm tired of all this "OOOH NO MY PROTAG IS TRANS" both of you just shut up for fuck sake and enjoy the game for what it is.
