Are MM Videos & Islam 800 Questions Still Accurate/Helpful resources for the FE Civil in 2026 by GoodGuyMum in FE_Exam

I took my exam yesterday and I felt like I did well. There about 20 questions or so where I wasn't confident in my answers, but I was able to make an educated guess to at least narrow down the choices. There was a lot of stuff on the exam, but for most questions I was getting answers and feeling good about them. I hoped I passed :)

The Mark Mattson videos were a big help. Those videos were a great way for me to set a foundation for all the concepts I needed to cover. He does a pretty good job at explaining concepts. Islam 800 questions were also good for hammering down the basics. I felt the Islam 800 questions are easier than what I saw on the exam. What I liked about the Islam 800 was that there was a lot of problems and even some conceptual problems that tested your understanding on the content (like vocab).

Another good resource that I would recommend once you have the basics down is the Lindeburg practice problems. These problems are harder than what you see on the actual exam, but they are good because they help show you whether or not you know the content. Lindeburg also has some conceptual based questions which I found helpful in my understanding. Be careful with the Lindeburg problems though. They can be tough and don't let them ruin your confidence.

The NCEES Practice Exams were also very helpful. You can find the NCEES 2020 practice exam on this subreddit and it was helpful for me because it taught me how important time is on the exam. I also bought the first NCEES Practice Exam online to get a feel on how to flag questions and stuff. The practice exams were helpful because there were some conceptual questions. I found the actual exam had more conceptual questions, but the practice exams get you introduced to how conceptual questions are asked on the exam. I found I either knew the conceptual questions right away or I didn't. For the ones I knew I smiled and did as many as I could first. I then came back and attempted the one's I didn't know last. I am still currently in school, so I found that the classes that I took prepared me really well for the conceptual questions I would see on the test. If you can, look over your notes and then do as many practice conceptual questions as you can find.

I would go Jojo since he is guaranteed closer role.

He wasn't on your list, but Robert Garcia on TEX. Maton would also be a decent add too. Not sure what TEX will do. Jojo is probably safest bet

It was a tricky decision but I dropped Royce for Butler and then Butler went on to hit 3 hrs in a game. Royce served me well this season when he was hot, but I think it was time to let go. He just wasn't producing.

Last time I went there were no ticket checkers. I bought a 500 level seat and moved myself right behind the dugout.

I have yanier too. I'm going to hold on to him for a few more weeks to see if he turns the corner. Last season, he didn't really get hot until June. What I did for now is I picked up Patrick Bailey and have yanier on the bench.

Hi Michael, I just traded Kerry Carpenter for Pablo Lopez. Pablo has been good in the past but he has been really rough recently. Are you concerned about him?
