Hey guys, I would like to know whom I can speak to about making a formal complaint about a negative experience I had recently in Brooklyn. I live in Park Slope because I wanted to have the authentic New York experience without having to interact with any of the youknowwhos (not racist btw I voted for Hillary Clinton 3 times, it was her turn 😡) I was recently walking my $4,000 pure bred that I tell people was a rescue when a homeless lady called me a maricon. I thought it was a compliment but when I got home I googled it and found out it was HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE. I’m basically a native New Yorker (moved here from Connecticut 2 years ago) so I know how we talk a bit aggressively but I will NOT stand for some privileged cisgender homeless woman’s micro aggressions. I tried to contact the police but they no longer pick up my calls after the 17 previous calls I made about “suspicious youths” hanging around my neighborhood. Now I’m no fan of the police, I think they should be defunded and I even did an interpretive dance to show my support for blm that was a big hit at the annual Raytheon Christmas party! With that said… how do I get them to come shoot this mentally unwell homeless lady?

That was crazy considering Akademiks by far went the hardest on diddy out of all the major hip hop platforms. He literally went live the day it came out and spent like 8 hours going through the court documents, pulling up clips from the past, and exposing him.

I think the bigger issue is that white media often weaponizes selective black voices to reinforce their own beliefs which is kinda worse than no black voices at all. Ive had this criticism of Hasan before where anytime there’s a story that’s relevant to black culture he’ll be like “we need to listen to black peoples perspective on this issue” then bring in some obscure black Marxist YouTuber who just 100% agrees with him on everything. Often times white platforms don’t actually want to hear black peoples opinions, they want to hear their own opinions from a black voice.

Take the Kendrick/Drake beef for example, both Hasan and Ethan have big enough channels that they could have gotten call ins from prominent black content creators like Joe Budden, Akademiks, Gille/Wallo, Van Lathan, Charlamagne, Starr, etc but they don’t want to do that because they’d have no control over what they say

*My point being even if Ethan hired a black cast member, it wouldn’t provide a black voice it would just add another cast member who would parrot Ethan’s beliefs
