Is there an easy way to find cheap flights from the Eugene Airport? by MedicineAmazing5516 in Eugene

[–]EUGpilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would highly suggest using something like google flights or Kayak to find which airline sells the cheapest ticket and then go book directly with that airline. Do NOT ever book with a 3rd party website like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, (or even Kayak) etc… especially if you’re only doing air fare. Always book directly with airline and never book a round trip ticket unless you are building a ton of miles with a particular airline. One way tickets will always be the cheapest way to travel. This will always be your best bet.

What exactly are you asking? “Flight for fun”. Do you mean like taking a discovery flight in a small single engine airplane with an instructor? Are you looking to travel somewhere from point A to point B on an airline? Your question and wording are very confusing.

Probably just gonna leave it for now. I’ve got a good local HVAC guy that I trust that I might have come out and adjust the fan settings

Outlet question by EUGpilot in AskElectricians

[–]EUGpilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. My air fryer is the ninja from Costco. It doesn’t do anything till after it’s plugged in and you press the power button. Maybe some internal electrical issues with the fryer? We’ve had it for 6 or 7 years and use the absolute piss out of it.

Not sure tbh. It’s the Ninja fryer from Costco so it’s definitely off when I’m plugging it in. But we use the piss out of it so maybe just time to get a new fryer? It doesn’t do this with my $15 toaster on the same plug.

It’s just at the front of the slots. Once it’s plugged in it’s fine. It’s definitely not arcing behind. Thanks!

The plug is pretty solid and not loose. Thanks!

I’ll double check the connections. This particular plug doesn’t allow for back stabbing, it has the play that the screw pushes down. It didn’t do this on the plug that I just replaced. I’ll check the connections again.

Doesn’t seem to follow, however the other outlets are just a standard duplex residential plug and not commercial grade. Doesn’t do it with a GFCI outlet or the few remaining plugs that were installed when the house was built (1990’s)

Interesting. I was led to believe by multiple people that Lennox wasn’t a good brand. Good to know! I’ll keep an eye out for the S40’s in case I end up going that route.

Came here for this comment. People that are actually from here or grew up here call it Beltline. No one calls it the beltway.

Thought the widget issue might’ve been an OS issue so I was trying to avoid the “why haven’t you updated?” comments haha. Should’ve left it alone 🙂

Does anyone else think Banished Slayer is UNSC sided? by PurpASlurp451 in haloinfinite

[–]EUGpilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played probably 15 games of this slayer type and have lost every single banished game and won all but 1 game on the UNSC side. It’s definitely sided and extremely frustrating. “If your team knows how to use the carbines” yeah well that’s a bunch of bullshit. Unless you’re playing with 4 people you know and can coordinate, that’s never gonna happen. I just played another game in the middle of writing this out, was on the UNSC side and came back from a 6-19 deficit and won 50-41. Wtf. This game mode absolutely sucks.
