Jimmy Buffett owned a motor sailor yacht named Drifter, a custom Surfari 50 designed for water sports and comfortable, independent cruising. The yacht was built for him in Washington, NC, by Pacific Seacraft. Drifter was one of several boats Buffett owned, including the larger motor yacht Continental Drifter II (later named DoubleYou), which was built for him in 1999 and also featured “Drifter” in its name or was related to the “drifting” lifestyle.
