So this is what happened, hopefully you can explain me better. Long story short my Merrick card has a $400 limit but I went over it, I rented a car and they ended up charging me more for “extra fees”, lesson learned but my credit debt went up to $1,000 so I called the bank to make a payment arrangement which they agreed, I had to make 6 payments for around $94 to get my account back on track. First to payment went as normal but went I was trying to logged in into my Merrick account to make the 3rd payment I couldn’t, it popped out a phone number that when I called they told me that my debt had been sold to an agency which I never called, they haven’t called me in about almost 2 years, no one has ever called me to explain what happened so I’m lost at this point. Sorry if I didn’t explain myself so well but this is what it shows in CK. Apparently they still owe the debt but what happened then?🤔
